The staff is amazing—very kind and supportive. The entire hotel is clean, lively, and located right next to Vondelpark. Bus and tram stations are very close, and there’s a supermarket just next door. Breakfast, dinner, and drinks are available. The hotel is surrounded by green areas, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a private room, so it was very quiet and calm. The rooms are cleaned regularly, but towels are not changed automatically—however, when we asked, they provided fresh ones immediately. Their response time was impressively fast. They also have a locker where you can leave your luggage until check-in time, which was very convenient. Thank you!

The staff were amazing. Even when I had an emergency late at night a staff member calmed me down and I was able to sleep. My roommates were also very polite. The room itself is very clean and there is plenty of showers and toilets for everyone to use. You cannot beat the location and I'm surprised I haven't stayed here before as I've been coming to the city for nearly 20 years. Grocery stores right around the corner to save money. Even a dominos for amazing pizza. They also have free lockers which a lot of places don't have. Allowing you 10 hours of free storage. Great value for money given the prices of hotels.

The usual one person snoring in the room. The bed blankets were amazingly comfy but not the mattress itself.

Everything!!! I was reluctant to stay at a hostel as mostly I book my own private place through Airbnb. But I thought, I wanna experience staying in a hostel at least once during my first trip to Europe for 3 months and I'm so happy to have chosen this hostel as it was perfect. Perfect location, accessible to all places I wanna see, and amazing staff. They are so helpful and knowledgeable in everything. The buffet breakfast everyday was the best. It saved me a lot of money for my 7 days in Amsterdam. I'm definitely going back here in this hostel for breakfast when I'm in Amsterdam!!! This is definitely a secret gem in the heart of the beautiful city.

I just hope they don't turn off the elevator, most especially for guests who is carrying a luggage and is designated to stay on the 4th floor. That was just the only exhausting experience for me during my entire week stay in the hostel which is my arrival on almost midnight and I'm already exhausted after a 15 hrs flight. But overall, it was great.

The location is great and it has direct access to Vondelpark. They offer free lockers for up to 10 hours after the checkout. Ground floor common areas are great and comfortable.

The 10-bed dorm looks way too bigger on web than the one I was actually assigned. Evidently not every 10-bed room is like that one photo they show on web. Mine was small as the pictures you can see for 6 to 8-bed rooms but without a table - there was not enough space for a table inside the room. I stayed at the ground floor of ‘City building’. Also, it doesn’t have a kitchen, only a bar where you can buy drinks and prepared meals.

I stayed at a hostel during my trip to Amsterdam, and its location was excellent. It was peaceful and away from the city crowds, yet still close to major attractions like the Rijksmuseum. Dam Square was just a 10-minute tram ride away, and the nearby tram stop made getting around very convenient. Right outside the hostel is Vondelpark, which was perfect for morning walks and breakfast. There are also affordable markets nearby for shopping. Inside, the hostel was very clean. Although I stayed in a 10-person room, it felt spacious and comfortable. After checking out, I was able to explore the city freely, thanks to lockers that allowed me to store my luggage for up to 10 hours. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. I would definitely recommend this place.

The location, for the price, was excellent. We walked from Amsterdamcentraal train station, but there is also a direct streetcar that we could have taken. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was fine, with multiple coffee options, rolls, cheese, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, pastries, juice, and fruit. The room was quiet at night and the beds comfortable. We also made the most of the free lockers to store our bags for the day after checking out and before our evening train. The clientele included children, young adults, and older adults -- with an age range of maybe 10-70.

Everything was fine, but it was a hostel, not a hotel, meaning that it was simple and we had to make our own beds with the provided linens. So if you want a fancy hotel, keep looking.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. I can only comment on the private, hotel-like rooms. Everything was comfortable and clean. Staff were kind and the lobby bar/cafe was a nice place to relax. We didn't really spend much time at the hostel throughout the day, so we didn't mind the basic, no frills approach. The best thing about this property is the location. We appreciated being in a more residential/local area, but still easily accessible to the Center and De Pijp by walking and tram. The airport bus is a 3 minute walk away and comes every 10 minutes. A no-brainer.

A few minor changes would make the private rooms more comfortable. Add hand towels and a shower mat. Also add towel hooks in the bathroom. For our specific dates, the price made sense to stay here. But it may not always make sense when comparing the price to a standard hotel.

VFM . the hostel is great. it has everything you need. tha staff and facilities are excellent. the location is very good, right next to a tram stop and close to the van gogh museum. Nice breakfast and nice price. Very good prices for everything.

the cleanliness could be better. the trash was emptied one day only. we stayed 3 nights. but with 5 people in the room it should be done every day. Also, with 5 people in the room the bathroom should at least be cleaned one more time. when we entered the room, it hadn't been swept. there was no toilet paper on the last day, and they didn't replace it for us. under my bed had dust (a lot). however, I believe that if we had asked them, they would have come to clean it, as everyone was very cooperative

It was a very nice place! Super spacious and semi private beds. Had 3 washers/dryers with reasonable prices and wash lengths. Good distance from most things, though I would recommend learning about the tram system. Staff was lovely and the restaurant almost made me cry because it was the first proper meal I had eaten that trip.

Lockers didn’t lock? they did look like it but they just straight up didn’t.

Mattress was comfortable, bathroom was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, plenty of seating in the common area to hang out with the friends i came with who were in a different room, plus very convenient luggage storage at no extra cost post-checkout. Also in a great location for walking/taking the tram to most destinations in the city!

Wish the double bed had been an actual double bed rather than two twin beds pushed together, and wish there had been a proper chair in the room rather than just the two stools. The breakfast options weren't amazing either and I only had breakfast at the hostel one of the three mornings I was there.
