It was clean, unique and had good air conditioning in the room. Right opposite Vondel Park and a few great sights. Walkable to the red light district, but also trams can take you.

This hotel has the slowest lift in history. But at least it has one! The bedroom floor was uneven so every morning I woke up in the middle of the bed from rolling (Top floor) which made us laugh! Also the whole bathroom floor gets wet when taking a shower- I feel a floor length shower curtain would easily help fix this issue. And there isn’t much space for suitcases in the room. And our TV remote didn’t work, even after someone took a look at it so we just couldn’t use it during our stay.

The team on the front desk were very, very helpful, they helped with queries about the city and helped with some additional work space in my room which really made the stay very much better. Anne and Lilly were particularly helpful on the day I arrived. The property was very quiet too which is always appreciated when staying away. The location is great, and the surrounding area has some lovely restaurants and bars, plus the museums!

The smaller rooms are really quite small, which is not 100% clear in the photos, so do double check what you are booking.

The location is incredible. Walking distance from the museums and Vondelpark as well as the city centre. The property is a lovely old building with a nice lounge area and an incredible courtyard. The staff were incredibly helpful and took care of our luggage before check-in, put food in a fridge for us and directed us to a close grocery store, restaurants and other attractions.

We ended up in a room at street level on the front street. The windows are old and thin so it was a bit noisy at times with occasional rowdy activity in the middle of the night. We had earplugs which mostly eliminated the issue.
