Breakfast was fantastic, especially the Dutch elements. The staff were outstandingly helpful. The decor and cleanliness were super.

If I'm being picky, the single pillow per person was not great for comfort, and I would have liked more coffee and creamer in the rooms. I need more than one in the morning!

The hotel has a great location, very clean, convenient for the museums and trams, the only complaint I had was that even though the hotel warns you that the rooms aren’t soundproof, but it (my room at least) was worse than I expected. I expected to hear people in the hall like they were in the room with me (I was next to the lift) but the bathrooms appear to share ventilation duct or something, so that you can hear the people in your neighbouring bathrooms as clearly as if they are in your bathroom, even after I closed my bathroom door I could still hear my neighbour throwing up repeatedly between 0100 and 0700. Like I said they do warn you sound is an issue, but be prepared.

The hotel is located in a very quiet and peaceful street in the museum district. There are many famous brand stores on the side street, and it is also very nice for those who want to shop. Our room was facing the garden side of the other buildings at the back. The room, bed, cleanliness, bathroom everything was perfect. Each of the receptionists were extremely sweet and since it was our first time in Amsterdam, they made many recommendations and marked them on the map. If you want a comfortable and beautiful accommodation, you can definitely choose it.

The location was great, you could easily reach Two museums already by foot: Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum, the max 6-7 min walk. The area is fancy, as one of the locals called it. And easily reachable too from the airport. You get to take only one bus, and the closest stop is only 3 min away by foot from the hotel 😇

The room was quite small considering the price, but still it might be normal for Amsterdam.. The only thing I didn’t like is that you’re not supposed to stay later than 23:00 in the bar area. Because the room was too small and I had to read for a while in my laptop, I wanted to stay downstairs at the bar, but I was told that it was not possible.. so it was either in my room or outside at that time. This depends much in what are you planning to do in Amsterdam, and how important it is to have some space within the hotel. The staff was friendly and ready to help. I have gluten sensibility and I was offered gluten free bread as an option. The breakfast doesn’t offer so many options, but for a short stay like mine it’s totally fine.

First of all, the staff were all wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and funny. The location was great - away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, albeit only a short-ish walk away, and just 2 minutes' walk from the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum.

I feel bad saying this, as it isn't really anyone's fault, but the nature of these old buildings makes them quite noisy. It wasn't a major problem at all but worth mentioning if you're a very light sleeper (we take a white noise machine away for this very reason, which worked fine).

I enjoyed my quiet and peaceful stay. The location is great within walking distance from many sightseeing spots as well as from the public transportation. I also enjoyed the walk to the downtown and shops. This place is located on a quiet street. It’s a good choice if you want to avoid noisy environments. I slept very well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They made sure that I have a good time every day. They shared some really good travel tips with me. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

No bad things. Everything worked out perfectly.

The hotel is super charming, on a very central location. Everything is within walking distance: museums, restaurants, parking, public transport, etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful, doing everything possible to make the guests comfortable and having their needs met (we needed warm milk for our baby on a Sunday evening, and they helped us out!). The breakfast was simple but very tasty, and the staff responsible for it was very communicative, making sure everyone was happy before leaving for another day in Amsterdam. We will definetively come back!

The building is starting to show its age, and a renovation could be needed in the near future. The bedrooms did not have a fridge and could use a better placement of the outlets by the bed (nowadays we have so many electronics to charge by the end of the day!). They tried to fix this by having a charging cube by one of the beds, which was quite handy. But not so good for the guests that were on the other side of the room and had no outlets of their own.

The staff was super kind, gracious and accommodating and the location couldn't be better- located in a quiet, up-scale neighborhood which was quiet and peaceful but amazingly close to transportation stops and withing walking distance to museums, shops and restaurants. However, Amsterdam being Amsterdam, the rooms, except for the family room, were quite small and crowded, including the bathroom. The family room was indeed larger, however there was no physical barrier or sense of minimal privacy between the spaces of the 2 double beds and their accompanying immediate surroundings. Had the rooms been better planned, it would have been possible to achieve at least some sense of psychological intimacy for each bed location setting without wasting too much space. Breakfast entailed an extra charge and was very satisfying and tasty but not exceptionally pampering or gourmet style. The breakfast room host was sweet and charming.

The general crowding and and lack of minimal separation between the beds in the large, family room.

The staff were so friendly. Arrival greeting was so courteous and helpful. Big room and great bathroom, love the shower. Loved that it was old school and dropped key off and 24 hour person at the desk. Fantastic, quiet location, could walk everywhere, run in Vondelpark, Van Gogh/Rijksmuseum 2 mins away.

No carpets meant room above us quite noisy. Pillows very lumpy and uncomfortable. For four of us two regular double beds seemed quite tight, and bedrooms were big so could have been a bit wider.

All of the staff were truly amazing, so friendly and helpful, can't say enough about them, This Hotel was spotless, breakfast was excellent, great choice and everything was freshly made. We stayed for our anniversary and they treated us to a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates on our arrival, very nice touch! It's located in a lovely area, with lots to see and do within a short walk. It also has a tram and bus stop around the corner, very convenient. We would highly recommend you stat here if get the opportunity to visit Amsterdam. It has 24hr reception and has a luggage storage option. We would certainly stay there again without hesitation.

Our stay was too short.
