The room was clean and quite large, with a decently sized bathroom. The hotel in general is very clean and easy to get around, with lifts going to all floors. Staff were quite friendly, there is a free coffee service in the lobby apart from the coffee facilities in the room, which are a bonus. Cleaning was regular and a delight. En-suite was equipped with body soap, hand soap, a hair drier and ample towels. A fridge and safe were also available in the room. Getting around is pretty easy as the tram stops just a few corners away from the hotel (10 minutes walk approximately), there is also a bus stop nearby with a bus which takes you directly to the airport, which is a huge plus when you have plenty of luggage and don't want to stay transferring from one mode of transport to another.

The only downsides faced in this hotel were that the showerhead is fixed to the wall and a bit uncomfortable to use, and balancing between hot and cold water was quite the struggle. Moreover, though this is no fault of the hotel itself, due to thin walls between the room and the corridor, noisy neighbours will definitely wake you up if you're a light sleeper; the slamming of a door or someone moving around in the corridor can be heard as though the person is in the same room.

On Arrival the first Concierge Rias was extremely helpful and nice. Rooms were as expected. But for two people and two small hand luggages it was very cramped. Either a backpack or one small luggage and a Backpack. For one person it would be perfect. The kettle was very clean but I couldn't fill it up under sink. Water would drop out when you pull it away so I would use the Cups to fill it. The heater took some time but got very warm eventually. The shower took some time to get hot as well so plan accordingly. Towels were available if needed. The Hotel itself was in a very posh area. So it was very quiet at night or mornings. You can reach a lot from there or take the tram. The Manager on Checkout was a Darling and explained us on how to get back to the Train station. Didn't have the Breakfast so I can't review on it. I would rebook on my next visit

The staff were amazing really friendly and welcoming from the start. My partner and I had an amazing time wasn't far from the city centre and especially handy being able to rent bikes from the desk. We were a little nervous after reading what now we know are fake bad reviews saying that they have bedbugs, the street Is noisy etc. Which I can confirm first hand that is not the experience we had at all, absolutely no bed bugs as we were staying for 4 nights comfortably, hope this will put someone else's mind at ease if coming here as it's not the case like other reviews have stated.

Very good location. Not exactly in the center, but thanks to this clean and quiet surrounding. City center is in walkable distance if you're not in the rush and don't have difficulties walking. Easy to reach with public transport. Room had everything needed for solo traveller. Huge shower. Cleanliness. Possibility to store luggage. Elevator. Coffee machine in lobby. Warm floor! View to the garden - very quiet with birds singing and no people there.

A bit soft mattress that was moving and sort of folding on the sides when you lay. For the rest - everything like in description, no surprises. A little hot in the room, but opening the window helped. But all there are just small things.

Large room for 3, had everything we needed for a comfortable sleep for a few days. Beds super comfy, with cleaners available to redo the sheets / towels each day. Shower gel, shampoo and towels for the bathroom. Shower was good with good pressure and power. We had a back room with a view of the garden, there were some building works going on so it was sometimes a little loud in the mornings. Location is in the middle of the designer retail district and close to the museum quarter, there arent really many late night shops or takeaways around so best to get a couple of snacks before arriving - there is a fridge in the room, and a vending machine / ice dispenser / coffee machine in the lobby.

We had a back room on the ground floor by reception, so although there were no stairs and there was a view of the garden, there were some building works going on so it was sometimes a little loud in the mornings. Room was really hot, we had to sleep with the windows open.

It’s close to the museum district, and 5 minute walk to trams to the centre of the city, which take about 10/15 minutes, or you can walk it in 29-30 minutes. The shower is nice and powerful and hot. Room has a fridge. Can store luggage for free after you check out. Room is nice and clean, spacious enough for our stay. Nice and quiet at night. It might not be the most glamorous place in the world but it’s a budget hotel what do you expect. It’s clean, spacious, modern, has everything you need.

Was worried about the reviews mentioning bed bugs, but there was no sign of anything like that at all. Bedding very clean and comfy, we stayed for 4 nights and didn’t encounter anything unpleasant.

Efficient check in and out. Attentive front desk. Room was comfortable but warm. Non street side was far more comfortable (had a room on that side for one night).

Coffee was free but yech. Other than that all was good. Bathroom very cramped in the twin with door closed.

The location of the hotel is good. Only 10 mins walk from the centre and busy areas around.

The hotel is quite dated, staff pretty much non existent and room was tiny. Twin room with two very slim beds and not much room to move about or store cases. Beds were quite comfy. Staff member barely able to communicate with us on arrival and seemed like he didn't want to be there. Not very friendly. Don't feel you get a lot at all for the price tag. Should have been half the price of what we paid.

Stayed here with a friend when we were in town to see a gig. Would recommend to any other folk looking to see Amsterdam on a modest budget. Excellent location right next to Vondelpark and reasonable price. Rooms were basic, but comfy and very clean. Would definitely stay here again. Cheers.

The only potential drawback was the lack of air-conditioning. This wasn't so much of an issue for me, as most places in the UK don't have air-con, but might be an issue for some. Otherwise excellent.
