Hotel Atlas is a small hotel with fantastic location, right next to Vondelpark, near a tram stop, and walking distance to the museums. Beautiful, quiet, green surroundings with restaurants and other amenities nearby. Staff are lovely and helpful. We had a double room on the lower level with large window overlooking the drive. Room has enough storage space for two. Bathroom is small but adequate with supplies. Comfortable bed. Good Wifi and TV with sufficient channels. Coffee station in room with kettle, tea, coffee, creamer, disposable cups, refilled daily. Good daily cleaning. Access with keycards, or doors can be unlocked online on your phone once you have been given access. They allow for luggage storage before check in and after checkout if needed, within certain time limits. Has a lift if you can't manage the typical Dutch stairs!

Although there is no major issue with the hotel, its just a bit older and rundown. It just feels like it could use a renovation to replace old carpets and fittings and address minor damp in the bathroom. However, its by no means close to terrible, just no longer fresh and new. No window in the bathroom. The reception is not 24 hours, but their remote online system appears to be working really well.

Amazing location right next to the vondelpark which is stunning, staff were lovely and gave us lots of great tips on where to go and things that were happening, they also let us leave our bags after checkout and pick up later that day. The room was cleaned daily and had everything needed. For a small place I was surprised there was a lift which was great for my parents as they struggle with the stairs.

Nothing that we didn't like. Air con would have been a bonus as it was very warm but there was a fan and big windows that could be opened. A wardrobe would also have been good but there was a rail with plenty of hangers and 2 shelves to keep stuff on so no complaints.

We have stayed here before and remembered it fondly. We love Vondel Park and the neighborhood. We appreciate how close it is to art museums that we love and wonderful little restaurants. The area is very walkable and safe.

I failed to notice that the hotel no longer serves breakfast which was a definite minus. I was very sad to see that the beautiful parlor and breakfast room are walled off now. That was part of the charm of this little hotel. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.....but the room is shabby, needs more fresh paint. If breakfast is not available, have better in-room coffee and some snacks. The room was very clean but we did not get maid service everyday, and sometimes the trash piled up.

Great location, right next to the park and walking distance from the city centre, also very close to tram stops, room was spacious and very comfortable, also fairly affordable in comparison to other places in the same area, the staff were also very friendly; the gentleman doing the housekeeping in particular made a positive impression on both me and my partner as he was very kind and smiley

It would have been good to have a do not disturb/no cleaning needed card to hang on the door as some days we wanted to sleep in after staying out late the night before

The hotel is very close to the Van Gogh Museum, as well as a quaint park and some good restaurants. The room was clean and spacious, and they provided a great fan when the weather was warm. The front desk was able to book a taxi for us to take us to the airport.

The room was slanted, so I often felt like I was going to fall right off the bed. There was construction going on during our stay, and they started quite early at 8am and it could be heard from the open windows.

Great location! The hotel is very close to Vondelpark, and there are many cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby. I also liked that the hotel had a spacious room with a big window. We appreciated that the building had an elevator. The room also has a small desk in case you also need to work.

The shower was bigger than expected, but if you shower at the same time as other people staying at the hotel, expect many temperature fluctuations. I got burned a few times, so the next days I just showered closer to midnight.

small hotel that was once a home for well to do family. Staff very nice. Location was great for us. Mostly walked everywhere. (just be aware & careful, more bikes than cars!) The only thing was: front desk person was there only from 10am till 7pm, then was closed and needed hotel room key to unlock front door. (wasn't a big deal for us, but some might not agree). Also, must remember it is not a large hotel, so that is understandable. Probably would stay again if went back to Amsterdam. It was clean and neat.

We did not dislike it. We don't spend much time in our rooms anyway. It was clean and comfy, that was the important thing & a pretty nice location next to a beautiful park.

location was excellent. the building facade and the little square outside (with coffeeshops and restaurants) are beautiful. it's steps away from the entrance to the vondelpark, on a quiet street, just one block from the tram line.

room was small and had no full-length mirror. there was city construction just outside, but it was incredibly quiet. still, the entire front of the building was fenced and buried in ruble, and the sidewalk was gutted. it took a little joy out of the overall experience, but it was not the hotel's fault.

The location was perfect for our travel goals. Major museums were within easy walking distance. Public transportation, coffee shops, restaurants, and a grocery store were close by. The gorgeous building backed up to a large public park, and the neighborhood was quiet and homey. Our room was cleaned daily, staff was very responsive to any questions or needs. I requested 2 single beds in advance of our arrival, as I traveled with my sister. The same day, I heard back from the owner that the request would be accommodated. I highly recommend this lovely hotel. I would stay at Hotel Atlas Vondelpark again in a heartbeat.

Front steps would be difficult for a person with limited mobility.

Hotel in a great location as it backs onto vondelpark which is a lovely 10 minute walk through the park to Leidseplein which is full of bars and restaurants and great tram links to the whole city. Great breakfast and lovely hot shower. We would definitely stay here again

A small fridge in the room would be nice and more than 1 coat hanger
