Very cute hotel in a beautiful residential neighborhood in Amsterdam. Close to transportation to get anywhere in the city. We felt like we were living in Amsterdam temporarily. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Room was very small but we expected that.

The hotel is located close to Rijksmuseum/ Van Gogh museum 10-12 minutes by walking. Nathalie (I hope I’m spelling it correctly!) was so helpful and friendly to us from checkin to checkout. The room was spacious, we stayed as 3 with our 4 year old and king size bed was comfortable for the three of us (we also had a small sofa bed which we used to place our stuff). The breakfast was freshly prepared, neat and delicious, the lounge area was small but perfectly enough. I love such boutique hotels with tasteful design. The amsterdam architecture overall has steep stairs but the hotel had an elevator so it was pretty convenient for us. Thank you for the lovely hospitality!

We arrived in the evening so we didn’t recognize the heater was off. When we returned back to the hotel, the room was pretty cold. It took a few hours to heat up but then it was all fine. It’d be very helpful if you guys could turn the heater on before the guests check in :) I already gave this feedback during the checkout but wanted to make sure others don’t experience such thing.

The property is cosy, homely yet elegant, you feel relaxed and comfortable. The shower was nicely made. Mattress is comfortable, Tea-coffee station is very useful. All staff is very kind and professional ready to help. Really very good team: all receptionists, breakfast hostess Natalia and house-keeping. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!!! Breakfast is also very good in quality. As we stayed four nights it was finally too much of the same. But for 1-2 days excellent. I liked location a lot. Extremely nice, quiet, real Amsterdam neighborhood. Not very close to touristic attractions apart from Museum quarter and Vondelpark.

Twice we had broken towels and with stains. Once I told it at the reception and they say that this was surprising, but when in a day we got another one with a big hole in the middle, then obviously I would suggest changing laundry. As this is not acceptable for 4 star hotel and less for such a nice one. For me the bathroom was too cold, though the mirror in the bathroom is heated was still missing warmth and the aircon in the room didn’t help. And I would vary at least some products for the breakfast. For a long stay you wish variety.

This is perfect! It’s close to the bus station and within walking distance to the museum square. The hotel is located in a residential area, quiet and clean, meeting all expectations for accommodation. Moreover, they kindly upgraded us to a twin room for free, thank you so much! I was in a hurry when I left and wanted to buy something to express my gratitude. I hope to see you again soon, thank you very much! I highly recommend it with a score of 10!

Lovely little hotel in a quiet location but easy to access to all areas of Amsterdam from, staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean, well equipped and comfortable with nice furnishings (cushions featuring famous Dutch art etc.), shower was excellent. Only had breakfast once as seemed quite expensive but it was nice, mostly continental style as to be expected although option to have eggs cooked fresh to your liking. The bar area is very welcoming and the honesty bar is a nice touch, good selection of Dutch beers available! Would stay again.

Breakfast for children was only about €3 cheaper than that for adults, which isn't much of a concession!

The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet residential area, just outside of the tourist hotspots but close enough that you can reach the city center with a nice long walk, or by the convenient nearby tram. The hotel and the room were in very good conditions. The lounge area/self service bar on the ground floor were also very nice.

Small things: the coffee machine inside the room could use an upgrade (it was good for a short espresso, but not for a longer coffee and the pod got stuck a couple of times). I was in a bunk room which is very small, as expected, but I thought that the price was a bit high for that tiny room. Being a solo traveler, the bunk room was perfectly fine for me, but I’m not sure how two people (and their luggage/belongings) could fit in it.

It was a fantastic hotel. Perfect location - in quiet streets, with lots of local places to explore. Close to the galleries and the park. The hotel itself was beautiful - great decor and well equipped. Most of all - the staff were so friendly and welcoming and really did the best to take care of their guests. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Only suggestion for improvement would be to offer up decaffeinated coffee at breakfast . it was available in the rooms but not for breakfast. It's such a minor bit of feedback though and really didn't impact anything!

The hotel is really wonderfully positioned. A 5 minute walk to the main museum square and with great restaurants, cafes, bars and shops all within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We had 2 rooms for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teens), a double room and a family room, which we had kindly been upgraded to. There's a lovely little lounge area to sit and have a drink and which is also used for breakfast.
