The staff kindly left a birthday surprise for us after I had requested it online. The room was very very spacious and fit three girls in perfectly. Staff were lovely and friendly & very quick at providing us things we requested (iron, toothpaste etc). Free croissants and coffee machine left at the lobby for us to use which I definitely made good use of!

The room wasn’t hoovered properly as there were still croissant crumbs left on the carpet from the morning. Also the bathroom bins hadn’t been cleaned for a day. Other than that I still think it was a clean place!

It was a good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Access to the public transport and the shops were good. We like that the staff was was friendly and helpful. They always gave correct information and directions when asked to go somewhere. We like to mention Ola because she was very helpful.

The bed was uncomfortable because the mattresses were not steady. It should have been better to have one steady mattress than two unsteady mattresses. When you sit on the mattress, it could slip to the floor with the person who sat on it.It would be convenient to have microwave in the room. We had to get help from the staff to use a microwave.

The staff is excellent and always willing to help. The room was cleaned extremely well and there were small touches to ensure we had a comfortable stay, including water and snacks provided on arrival. A bonus is the lounge area in the lobby, which is extremely comfortable, offers free coffee and tea, and is decorated with the ambience of a spacious bistro, including candlelight in the evenings. Guests can treat it as as an extended living/dining common room. We brought our own takeout and saw many guests playing games in their down time. Public transportation and shops are just a few minutes walk away.

We had the comfort twin room, and even then, the bathroom was EXTREMELY small. The shower stall had a 3-part sliding door with no stopper, so you can accidentally knock it open while showering and spray the bathroom floor. They could have included a small wire shelf inside the bathroom for toiletries so you don't have to bend down and put the toiletries on the floor while in such a cramped space. While I understand the management has to work with the space they have, they could have done more to mitigate the size issue of the bathroom - these small things make a big difference.

The hotel was really pretty and the room had a good size. Most of the staff was really nice and helpful. The wifi worked really well. Overall a good stay.

We only had a bad experience with one receptionist that was quite rude to us by the time we first arrived to the hotel. We never saw her again and all of the other staff were lovely! The location is not great for sightseeing, it is a long walk from the city center and the main tourist attractions. So if you had a short stay in Amsterdam (as we did), might not be the best. Also the carpet in our room had a couple of stains, nothing major but worth mentioning.

Delphi hotel is very stylish and comfortable hotel to stay in. Everything in the room was new and nice also we had a lovely balcony with garden view which was a great bonus! Hotel also has an awesome lounge and free coffee

We were staying in queen size room bed was awesome - bigger than UK king size bed, but room itself was very small. My bf is a big man and felt like everything it tiny. It didn’t bother our stay though - room served it’s purpose for us to sleep and take showers. We were on a city break in Amsterdam so spent most of the time out.

Beautifully decorated with some really tasteful touches. Christmas decorations were beautifully done. My room was spacious and comfortable. Once I had worked out how to use the shower (!) it was strong and hot and could be turned on and off without having to reach under the water … clever design. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Best of all - breakfast. Everything on offer was fresh and tasty with a fantastic selection to suit all tastes. I hate those coffee machines all hotels have these days but this one actually produced decent enjoyable coffee! I suspect, evidenced from the rest of the breakfast, it was well-cleaned and maintained. Location was really good; few minutes walking distance from shops, restaurants and Number 5 tram which is the one for the main museums.

Did not provide bottled water if you stayed longer than one day ( although I was given 2 when I whinged!). No modern usb sockets although reception able to lend me an adapter ( I forgot mine). More comfortable dining chairs rather than the “caravan-type” seating would have been nice.

Lovely light rooms. Very modern and sleek hotel. Free coffee using the machine was a really nice touch (not just for those who opted for breakfast). Great location in quiet area. Close to a nice high street with shops and restaurants. Easy to get into central and only 15 min walk to Museums. Kind and attentive staff. We could leave our bags both when we arrived to early for check in and before we returned home. Very cute welcome basket of snacks.

Only comment is that the bathroom is really tiny! But it worked for us.

Really friendly staff, lovely big room with comfy bed and spotlessly clean bathroom. It was just what we needed for a weekend break. Location was great and a nice easy walk away from local restaurants and the museums.

Our room was very close to the reception so we did have a lot of noise coming from people opening and closing the toilet door next to our room as well as going in to the reception area. Wasn’t a huge deal for us as the hotel has late checkout times so we were already awake when most people were moving around.

The Delphi is a lovely, spotlessly clean hotel with friendly service in south Amsterdam. They have a very good breakfast and bicycles for hire. The immediate area is quite nice with shops and restaurants a few minutes away. It also is easy to access the tram to go directly back and forth to Central train station and from there to the airport. I highly recommend it for visitor who would like a comfortable, reasonable stay in a great location instead of trendy, lux accommodations.

The staff were incredibly friendly. When we checked in we were welcomed by Ola who was lovely. Other staff members such as Antonio and Marcus (apologies if this is not his name!!) gave us lots of advice about restaurants and places to visit. The breakfast was perfect. There were great options available and the coffee machine was perfect! The breakfast set us up really well for the day. The room was just what we needed too! It was the perfect size with a great bathroom and the best thing was the doors onto a little balcony!
