The capsule was small but cosy, we managed to fit in with all our stuff. There was also a baggage room where you could store your suitcase in case it did not fit in the capsule. Comfortable and silent at night. Fresh towels every day. Big common space for guests. The location was nice especially for the museum visits.

It was a little difficult to manage your own meals. You could only access the fridge via a receptionist and the kitchen utensils were only borrowed if you ordered something at the bar. However, the receptionists were helpful and nice.

My partner and I stayed for a week in a double capsule and had a brilliant stay. You can get the number 12 tram from the station for a very low cost, dropping you off just around the corner from the hotel. The capsule is comfortable and roomy (you can put your luggage in the provided luggage storage cupboard overnight to give you a bit more space) and the air vent ensured that the room was fresh, cool and not stuffy. The shared bathrooms were clean, and we made use of the dining space that is available for guests to use at any time outside of breakfast hours. We also really enjoyed the beautiful walk into the centre, about 20 minutes through the museum quarter. Generally, a great stay! ⭐️

I recently had the pleasure of staying at De Bedstee Boutique Capsules in Amsterdam, and I must say, I loved the experience right from the start. The warm welcome I received immediately set a positive tone for my entire visit. A special mention goes to Annika, one of the receptionists. She is truly a kind and incredibly helpful person. I really enjoyed our conversations, and her friendly nature made a big difference to my stay. She is definitely a great asset to the hostel. The other receptionists, whose names I unfortunately didn't catch, were also consistently polite, kind, and very professional. The staff clearly makes a strong impression here. The capsules themselves are really cool! They are surprisingly spacious, offering enough room to relax and get a good night's rest. The design is modern and practical. The bathroom area, which includes one toilet and two showers, was always clean and very well-maintained. It felt quite beautiful and well-designed, which is a nice touch for a hostel. The location of the hostel is also excellent. It's conveniently situated about five minutes away from the famous Van Gogh Museum, making it easy to explore some of Amsterdam's main attractions on foot. Overall, I highly recommend De Bedstee Boutique Capsules for anyone planning a trip to Amsterdam. It offers a fantastic combination of great staff, comfortable facilities, and a superb location.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Maza was particularly kind and gave me great advice on how to tour the city by food. She was also very welcoming during check-in. The room was cozy. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was nice but a small bit overpriced in my opinion. Perhaps I am a bit out of touch with the rising prices in Europe though...

Staff were all lovely and helpful at every point which was the highlight of the experience. Capsules were spacious enough with a luggage storage room so we did not have to use space in the capsule for luggage. Plenty of toilets and showers on the floor so we never had an issue with that. Vents to control temperature and good lighting in the capsule. Very quirky and comfortable stay. Would return.

The temperature was tricky to regulate as with the vent open we got cold quite quickly but with it shut the capsule got really hot. By our third night we mastered only having the vent open a little to regulate the temperature. Bedding had dirty marks when we arrived but staff replaced this without an issue.

A very clean and comfortable place in a great location at a very reasonable price. The capsule was amazing—bigger than expected—and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The common spaces are cozy and stylish, creating a great atmosphere. Lastly, I’d like to thank the staff for their kindness and assistance in helping me resolve some issues during my stay in Amsterdam.

In a city where half of the dudes are about 2 meters tall, how can the steps on the staircase be so small? I'm only 1.77 meters tall, and at times it was really annoying having to take the stairs. Be aware of this if you're carrying a bag or if you have any mobility issues. To be fair, I read that most old buildings in Amsterdam are like this—it's a small issue of the city.

I absolutely loved everything. I've been here twice now and honestly can't imagine staying anywhere else. It's DOWN THE ROAD from The Van Gogh Museum and Rijks, both favourites. It was super easy to get around, has a tram stop right by it. I love the capsules, they are surprisingly spacious. I'm a bit claustrophobic in general but had ZERO trouble here. They are sound proof! My biggest worry was that I'd hear other guests being gross, but really only hear yourself. The beds are comfortable, the shower and bathroom facilities are clean and private. It's a hostel but it feels like a hotel. There's even robes! I mean... I absolutely love it. Last time I visited the UK I chose a flight with a layover in Amsterdam just so I could stay here. (There was also an Albert Hein trip). 10/10 would recommend.

Steep stairs to the floors, which is fine, just a bit difficult if you have a heavy bag, BUT they also let you keep it downstairs and you can access it 24/7.

beds were very comfortable and large and there was plenty of storage space for the bags we had. great location outside of the centre but definitely walkable and near to a tram stop aswell.

we got locked in our room once (which the staff were very helpful and kind about) and in the mens bathrooms twice. the air con was very cold in the room with no clear way to warm it up. there was a few dining facilities downstairs (kettle, cutlery etc) but you had to buy a drink at the bar to use these.

Hello I think this place is one of the cool ones. I really surprise when I saw the concept. But surprisingly it was very comfortable. The workers super chill so they are very helpful to make things easier. So also all the things are super good, breakfast also. But the most good things is location. There is a direct bus go towards the airport and it is directly starts from in front of the hostel. thanks a lot.

I was staying in the first floor so it a bit annoying to use bathroom also shower from upstairs. Also towels a bit not clean but it was okay.

All of the common spaces were very clean and very pretty, the location is perfect and the airport shuttle bus drops you off right in front of the place, the staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the pods were very comfortable.

It didn’t bother me but I wouldn’t recommend the pods for someone who is claustrophobic or really tall. Also there are some pretty steep stairs leading up to the rooms, it didn’t bother me either but it’s something to consider for those who have mobility issues.
