Fantastic location for visiting museums and Vondelpark. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast.

Small rooms and shower facilities - but we did book the cheapest twin room.

The staff at The Concert is exceptional! They greet with a smile and keep it going. They are eager to please, and it shows every minute. Kind, thoughtful, friendly, and happy to bend over backward for their guests. The fourth floor (Room 401) seemed daunting at first (elevator to the third floor and walk a set of stairs), but the view of the street and treetops of Amsterdam are worth every step. The hotel location is fantastic, close to the Concertgebouw, Museumplein, tremendous food options, and the Albert Cuyp market. It's quiet and lovely. There's also an Albert Heijn (supermarket) around the corner. There are numerous trams to every corner of the city within a block.

There is no meeting place, no common room (not a negative, just be aware). Instead, there is a lovely, sunny dining room to use when breakfast is not served. The pillows are rock-hard (no joke - they are neck-bending hard rocks). I switched the soft brown throw pillows into the pillowcases of the rock-hard sleeping pillows, and that worked perfectly.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. A clean and practical room that gave me all I needed, including coffee and a kettle, plus decent wifi and a good shower. Small balcony window on the back of the hotel, so no street noise at all. Well heated. Airport Bus 397 drops you more or less at the door. Perfect location for the Concertgebouw and Rijksmuseum, so a half hour walk to Dam Square etc.

The pillow was rather solid for someone like me with a dodgy neck. The couple next to me were a little over enthusiastic the first night, otherwise it was totally silent after 10 pm.

Cosy and clean hotel, near the concert hall Concertgebouw and all important Amsterdam museums (van Gogh, Rijkmuseum, Stedelijk, Moco, Heineken), close also to restaurants and pubs area (Leidseplein), boat tours piers and shopping street (Albert Cuypstraat). Very well connected to the center of the city by public transport. The rooms are clean, with good wifi and confortable beds. The breakfast was good, with fresh pastries and good coffee.

Small bath in the room, but it can be found everywhere in this city. More attention to the towels change could be given (missed foot-towels twice).

You can't beat the location for easy access to the major museums, the Concertgebouw, and Vondelpark. It is easy to get there from the central station area on a tram. The room was cozy and I had a nice view from my little balcony. The bed was comfortable and the staff found a fan for me when I did not have one and were able to change the pillow to one that I was more comfortable with. It was clean and safe, and it has a small elevator, so you don't have to drag your suitcase up the stairs.

The room was pretty and clean, and the staff lovely. We also appreciated the little balcony, as we got lucky with the weather. The hotel is also well located, close to art museums and the tram. Also, it was very easy to come back at late hours of the night.

The room was very very tiny, we didn't have much room to open our suitcase. Also, the water from the shower only comes from the ceiling, and the shower curtain was too close and sticking to us, so we had to leave it open and inundate the whole bathroom. Not a big deal though.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is amazing. I was in a single room for 2 nights followed by 2 extra nights in a double room. The single room is very small but clean and comfortable. As others said, you need to watch for water going everywhere in the shower. Easy fix with placing a towel in the right place and watching where the water goes. I stayed 2 extra nights in their biggest double room with a free upgrade. That room was just perfect.

The cleaning staff entered my room with one little knock on the door beforehand. I didn't have time to say something before the door was open. I would advise you to place the"do not disturb" sign on your door. The bed in the single room was too soft for me.

Room was cleanly and had all the amenities, the location was within walking distance of the Van Gogh/Rijk Museum, a good center point of the city. We didn't eat breakfast but it was offered. The water was hot enough for my girlfriend and I and everything worked.

The curtains for the shower kept encroaching upon our bodies as we tried to shower. There weren't any barriers or inclines to keep the water from spreading to the rest of the bathroom.

Location was excellent, you can rent bicycle as well. Very very solid location as it is near enough to the centre but still not in the centre itself.

There was no air conditioning but they do provide you with a fan. Luckily it was end of summer with rainy nights so that was okay, would not recommend if it is scorching hot.

The staff and location of the hotel were excellent. You can catch the airport bus 397 very close to the hotel.

I had initially booked a single room and was not happy with the tiny bed, tiny sink and tiny room so I upgraded to a double room which was very nice. I would not recommend the single room.
