A scenic location and beautifully presented property, no steps required for access. A friendly and helpful owner, thanks for the wine and chocolate. It takes about 20 mins to walk to the train station. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and Anne Franks house is very close. The tourist sites are easily accessed on foot or access to trams not far away. Some canal tours also start nearby. Toiletries are provided, so helps to lighten suitcase.

Kitchen not really equipped for cooking, only making a hot drink. There is a fridge , a small shop is located along the canal . Best to go to Pancake Bakery for breakfast, go early to avoid queue!

Marcel was really lovely, made us feel really welcome upon arrival and was able to accommodate us during a storm that had hit the day of our departure! The location was absolutely perfect, with the Anne Frank huis 2 minutes away and lots of cute boutique shops, cafes and buzzy bars close by. The city centre (binnenstad) is 15 minutes away by foot and the nearest tram roughly 10 minutes away - here you can take the tram to the museumplein, leidseplein and centraal. I would highly recommend staying here to all travellers!

Nothing, it was all perfect!

The perfect location. 15 minutes from central station and all other main attractions are close by. Jordaan is a beautiful area full of cafes, restaurants and little shops. The studio was spacious and the bed was very comfy, we couldn’t complain. Marcel was a great host and made us feel welcome, he even gave us a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. We will be back!

This property is spacious, being the converted basement/warehouse of an old canal house and far larger than a hotel room or even a purpose-built city studio/apartment. Marcel, the owner, is friendly and helpful and he generously provided beer, wine and soft drinks as a welcome pack for our stay. The location is excellent, out of the busy city centre but with plenty of bars and restaurants, two supermarkets, a post office and a tram stop within easy walking distance.

Kitchen facilities are minimal, suitable for toast/sandwiches, cereal and tea/coffee. Stay here if you're going to eat most meals out, but try somewhere else if you prefer to cook some meals in your apartment.

Fantastic location, lovely and spacious with great decor, very clean. Our host, Marcel was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Not a dislike but could be improved by having a window to open, a washing machine and oven or grill.

Marcel was easy to contact and very welcoming. Great space to relax and excellent location, matched photos. Quiet at night despite proximity to street. Blinds can be angled if you want privacy during the day

kitchen could do with a bit more crockery like mugs and bigger plates.

Our host was amazing, very helpful offering great suggestions for places to eat and things to do, as well as being there to let us in and show us around the place. It was a beautiful little apartment ground floor with lots of space inside and a comfy bed. Good shower pressure, and wonderful place to stay! Great location close to many restaurants, and right on the canal. Very walkable from the main train station, about 15-20min. Really close to a canal cruise boat which left every 20mins or so, was recommended by our host, and I would also suggest as a recommendation :)

super close to the center without all the crowds, location in jordaan was amazing with all of the beautiful canals. Super close to Anne Frank museum. Marcel was an excellent warm host. would stay here again.

everything was great, if i had to say i would suggest potentially another mirror in the main living area especially if you are travelling with more than 1 person and need to get ready while someone else uses the bathroom (large beautiful mirror in the bathroom however)

Excellent communication from the start, received a warm welcome and had a nice chat despite us being four hours late due to delays. Apartment is in a beautiful location with a canal right outside, several bars and the best apple pie in Amsterdam all on our doorstep. Bed extremely comfy.

Everything was perfect

Studio was in the most amazing and beautiful location! Walking distance to so many cool cafes and just a short distance to the city centre. Apartment was spacious and clean and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The host was so lovely and greeted us with a bottle of wine on arrival! Highly recommend :)
