Excellent hotel, Excellent location, staff was helpful and friendly, recommend the breakfast there as well.

Dining options in the area are sparse. Few good restaurants are available, but you need to plan ahead and make reservations.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was very warm weather, so we were very grateful that the room was air conditioned.

We knew to expect a very small room (and it was). Even though there was an elevator, there were some very steep stairs to navigate to get to the room from the elevator. Navigating they with luggage was a challenge.

Personal good service and location

I was in the Attic room 517. The air quality in the room is not up to standard. With the humidity and water on the walls there must be mold in the room and you can smell that

The location was perfect. Close to many restaurants, shopping and attractions. Also close to various Tram routes and Central Station so very accessible and convenient. In additions the amenities offered by the hotel such as fridge and ironing area to mention a few made the trip very comfortable. And All the staff were extremely hopeful.

Rooms in Europe are small so my room did not have a closet. Hotel remedied by providing hangers to hang clothes could on the back of the door - the hangers were very helpful. Thank you. Only suggestion is to add additional hooks or pegs along the wall to provide additional hanging space.

The decor is lovely, the location was handy and the canal view from the room was a highlight of our stay.

Due to the building being old it was quite noisy and you can hear people walking above and in the next rooms. For the room price a coffee machine would have been good, you could make coffee in the lobby but had to pay for it.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located right in the city center, yet the area was surprisingly quiet – only one morning we heard some noise, but that was with the window open. We stayed in a Deluxe Room with a canal view – it was cozy and very comfortable. One big plus was that our room was ready much earlier than the official check-in time, which was very appreciated after the journey. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was pleasant. Only about 20 minutes to the airport, which was super convenient. Highly recommended – 10 out of 10!

Loved the coziness of the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. Its location is superb, so close to many awesome shops, cafes and restaurants.

The room was a bit tight.

The staff are amazing. Ingrid Maria at the reception is the most wonderful human and the best welcome we ever received in a hotel so far in our frequent travels. The hotel location is within walking distance to most attractions, 5 min from Anne Frank House, and 5 minute walk from many streets that sell local clothing and crafts. The most famous shopping streets in Amsterdam are within walking distance, and an endless list of restaurants and cafes. The room was relatively spacious by Amsterdam standards, and the best of all: directly on a canal. The canal view room was great, and our other room without canal view was also spacious and zen. We loved everything. Breakfast is basic but VERY affordable in europe standards so worth every penny. grateful for our stay. we got our money's worth and more.

The coffee could be a little tastier from the machine, but apart from that there is NOTHING we did not like. We liked everything.

The proximity to the Anne Frank house and a canal.

The breakfast buffet was adequate. Nothing fancy more like a continental breakfast.

This hotel is brilliant value for money! We’ve stayed in Feb for 2 nights which is quite off-peak so prices will differ. The staff are absolutely lovely and so friendly. The room was the right size for the 2 of us. The heated floor in the bathroom was definitely a lovely touch! Location was great as well for us, all the main attractions were between a 10-30minute walk away. This was ideal for us because we enjoy walking, and the canal walks are stunning so you can’t really go wrong. We will definitely be back at some point.

The room was a little bit dark - but we did book late so our window was restricted view. But honestly no bother.
