Exceptional location! Friendly staff. Enough clear room, could be a little bit cleaner.

Information that arrived after the reservation (non-refundable) & that must be clarified on booking. Luggage storage is for free till 18:00 the day of departure. We wanted to leave the luggages till 18:30/19:00 since our flight was later that night, but we were told that we have to pay 5€ per piece after 18:00. They were not debatable on this topic. Which is really disappointing. 10€ deposit in cash for the key. This isn’t a big issue. Still good to be mentioned.

Central to all the main attractions. Tram stop right outside and very close to central train station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect if you want a base to sleep at but be out most of the day exploring.

Stairs are very steep in the property but this is the style of building out there. Would recommend not getting a room on the higher floors. No tea facilities in room so bring a travel kettle if you would like this.

The location and the view of our room is just what we need. It was amazing at the 1st floor with the view of the cathedral and it was near the central station. Our tram station was just opposite of the hotel. The room and private bathroom was clean and comfortable.

The stairs were steep and small. We had to carry our luggage up and it was a little difficult cause it was small. Rooms are very small. Can only open the luggage on the bed.

The staff for a start are lovely people the bar is reasonably priced the rooms are very clean and for the price and location you can’t complain as you don’t spend much time in there at all

Half the people in my room were loud unhygienic and just overall unpleasant expect to come back to dirty clothes all around your room as the other guests I stayed in a room with had less class than a red light working girl never mind the fact I’d come back to random joint ends on the floor but no smoke smell very odd but absolutely no fault of the hostel they accommodated me as well as possible and were always available to help

First time staying in hostel, booked after flight home was cancelled and I was pleasantly surprised. Room was mixed, 6beds but only 3 beds were occupied. Room was clean, good size locker with key provided, plug sockets by each bed, sink and mirror in room. Toilet and shower right outside room. Location was great, 5 min walk to Amsterdam Central and across the road from Dam Square.

Toilet and shower were in separate rooms thankfully as the shower room smelt really bad. Didn't use the shower as the drains smelt so bad, would have been an issue if I was staying longer than 1 night.

Great wee location, 2min walk from rembrandt sq and everything pretty much on the doorstep. Staff were helpful with any questions.

The surprise extra charges on arrival. Already paid 600+ for 4 of us. I shouldn't be paying an extra 37. Even after querying it, I'm still none the wiser. The room we booked had the worst bathroom setup. I get its a small space but the whole squeegee the floor thing is craaazy, just seal the bottom of the shower door? Also the drain didn't work all that great so even if you're out all day and come back the bathroom was still soaking

The room was Fresh, clean & had ample space with sockets/usb ports for charging, the reception staff were friendly and helpful & it was located in a great area with many shops, restaurants & local attractions nearby, I had a great time staying here while I visited the city

Very comfortable to be a hostel: room clean and smelling fresh, good windows, comfortable beds. Still a hostel, but one of the best I've been so far. The position also is perfect, super downtown with access to several tram lines just in front.

Overall only the check in: had to wait a lot and most of all the towel is handed at check in instead of being ready on the bed (not hygienic at all coming from a long travel and had to take it with my hands and carry it on my room like that...)

It was cheap and in the city centre really close to the Dam square. It's also located in a historical building so that's pretty cool.

Bathroom and dormitory are very small. The stairs are steep but they do warn about it so that's ok considering I didn't have anything but a backpack. They also ask for a deposit for keys(10 eur if I recall correctly) but there is nothing about that on Booking.

That was awesome, 15 min walk from central station and in the city center u can go anywhere by walking. They give u towel and lockers are with key which they support aswell. In shower there’s a shampoo. So nothing to worry only sleepers left for u to bring.
