convenient location, the hotel is in the very center, close to the train station. The view from the window 👍🏻👍🏻

For that kind of money, I close my eyes to the fact that everything in this hotel is old, but the only thing worth paying attention to is the cleanliness. I had someone else's hair in my bed. My friend also had someone else's hair on the other bed. It was disgusting. Also, the audibility is very high, you can hear every step, because the floor creaks. You can also hear absolutely everything from the street, even quiet conversations.

Mario (the owner) greeted us on arrival, very friendly and helped carry our bags up. We had the top room (11), beds were comfy and had fresh sheets on. Room was clean, functioning hot & cold sink, mirror, and plenty of plug sockets for device charging. Big window opened up to a full view of the street/cathedral (a better view than our friends in the vastly more expensive hotel across the street!). Location really couldn’t have been better, quick walk to everything, and the property is on one of the main streets so is easy to get back to after a long night out! You can hire bikes from the shops next to the hotel, really cheap and easy way to explore the city, and didn’t really have a negative experience for the whole 5 day break. I would happily move to live in the city if I could! Extra thanks also to Mario for keeping our luggage safe on check-out day allowing us to go out for the day before going home! 100% would stay again!

Not really an issue, steep stairs, but this is to be expected throughout the whole of the city. Shared bathrooms were a bit dated, but honestly they were cleaned regularly throughout the day, so wasn’t an issue for a short city break!

Location,people and the whole thing about hotel is very good for the price. Yes, there sre steep stairs but again for the cost and location it.does not matter The staff, they are super super amazing. Early baggage keeper and late check out bag keeper. Thank you

Nothing as such.. Just the washroom on 3rd floor is nice compared to top floor Also, toilet rolls were missing. Rest no problem

Great little hotel in the middle of central Amsterdam, at a reasonable price. Basically, it's a quick walk from anywhere you're planning on going in the area. Also surprisingly decent shower.

You get what you pay for. It's a place to dump your bags and sleep at night, if you're expecting anything more from your stay, that's on you.

Room was small, but cozy and comfortable. I bought the wrong adaptor for the plug 🔌 in, but the front desk clerk let me borrow his. Very kind staff, helpful and accommodating. They gave me a coupon to save money on renting a bike to sightsee the city.

No stairs, but the staff helps you with your luggage, don’t really have nothing to complain about.

Perfect location,.everything is close by. Bed is comfy. Amazingly kind receptionist (thank you Mario). You can leave your bag there. Yes it's a small room, but this is Amsterdam. You wanna go out anyway.

Stairs -With big luggage it would have been harder to get up on the stairs. Wc- There is 1 toilet on each floor but you can use the one on other floor. Noise- it's quite central, noise calms down around 1-2 am.

We have really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Tamara. The place is located in the centre of Amsterdam, just in front of a tram stop. Therefore, it is very easy to move around the city from here. Mario and the rest of the staff have been very kind, helpful and nice with us. The room was equipped with a private shower and a nice heating system.

60 euros is cheap for a room in the center of Amsterdam. De bed was comfortable, with soft-touch bedding. The pillow could be improved, but it always helps to take the towel, fold it in some parts and put it underneath the pillow. The shower worked, but it was not possible to hang the show head on the wall, would be good to repair this. the staff was very friendly.

Unfortunately we got stuck with the top floor with 2 big suitcases which was a bit of a hassle but we only had to go up once so that was alright

Easy to find, very centrally located and the hosts were welcoming.

Room was small and the bed sheets stained/discoloured meaning they don't look clean even if they are. Rooms are up steep narrow stairs so may not suit those with large heavy suitcases.
