Perfect location, quieter end of city and very near train station. Great room, perfect for us, everything we needed. Communication was also spot on with everything.

Housekeeping hit and Miss, even with the door sign out! Also, bleach stains on some of the carpets, I’m guessing that’s what they use to clean sometimes.

As I was travelling in my own it was better than expected. Very often single rooms are a tiny afterthought, but this room was a great size for just a couple of nights. The staff were lovely and friendly.

Being on my own was fine but if I was with anyone else I wouldn’t like the fact that the walls to the shower room were so see through.

We had a marvelous 3-night stay at the WestCord City Centre Hotel in Amsterdam. The clean, inviting lobby became , our place especially with the fun selection of board games. We chose the breakfast option and were so glad we did—the food was always fresh and tasty. The hotel staff was amazing: friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathroom design was definitely unique—the large glass sink and counter created a bit of an optical illusion, but we quickly adjusted! The location was perfect for exploring the city, and we always felt right at home. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Excellent location, super central with frequent trams close by. 6 minute walk from Centraal, and about the same to get into Dam Square. Must have only been a road over from Damrack and the RLD. We really travelled all over for different attractions - Adam Lookout, Van Gogh Museum, WONDR - and found it really easy! So much so, we would call back in the hotel sometimes (to rest our feet) before heading on to the next thing. We arrived late (about 11pm), but it was fine due to the 24 hour reception. Then, a surprise in my room if a birthday card, macaroons and balloons. Really made it feel special! A couple staff even wished me happy birthday in person! Genuinely could not have asked for a better location or friendlier staff. The room was grand, slightly small but perfect overall, and had a tv, kettle, etc. bathroom was nice, and clean! Really appreciated the water/hot drinks available for free in the lobby, as well as the option of snacks/drinks available to buy.

The best was the staff. Really friendly folks that always received you with a smile and were willing to help. The location was also pretty great, especially if you arrive via train like we did, since it's at walkable distance from the Central Station. Finally, the Nespresso machine in the room was also a nice touch.

The room distribution could have been better. They seem to prioritize business travelers and have a pretty big desk that although useful if you need to work, takes a lot of space, and leaves you with little to no room to open your bags or put your clothes on.

Although small, the room met an adequate Amsterdam standard. The staff were friendly, and the ability to store luggage for free was quite helpful. The hotel is well-situated between the central station and the city center, making it easy to reach on foot. The hotel entrance is also secure, accessible via key cards. Communication via WhatsApp from the hotel before and during our stay was a bonus. Our room was quite soundproof. We made use of the breakfast option, which was also adequate. Price-wise, the hotel is quite expensive, but this is Amsterdam, where everything is overpriced!

Perhaps it was just our room’s toilet, but the space between the shower on one side and the wall on the other was so small that it would be difficult for a larger individual to sit comfortably. Using the toilet was like parallel parking between two closely parked cars!

So close to everything! We didn’t use any transport as everything was in walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is coffee and diffused water in reception you could help yourself too 24 hours a day. Check out was at 12 which was great as it’s usually earlier in other hotels.

The pillows weren’t great but we had an ok sleep, except for the fact the light switch were on the head board and every time my husband rolled over he switched the light on which woke us up but comfortable enough. The bathroom is a little weird the door doesn’t close completely and there is no lock. Not a problem for us however for friends or a new couple could be a problem.
