EVERYTHING. Extremely convenient and a perfect location. 24hrs massage shop nearby, a huge super market, the dam, the train station, and everything else. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Whenever we call the guest service they are very quick in providing us with what we need, except the room service, bear in mind it takes time as we were in a high season. Room was really good in size. Spacious. The hotel nice smell in the lobby was a + They also have coffee in the morning in the lobby then they have a station with infused water+ iced tea which was a nice refreshment whenever we pass by. The shower+ water was great not weak at all. The shower gel and soap has a nice smell.

The AC, even though it was 21 degrees C - maximum reported temp, even with the coolest option in the AC we wear waking up sweaty! You can not fully open the window- so opening it with that little opening won't help to cool down the room more at night.

The staff, from the excellent, friendly and helpful reception team to the brilliant concierge staff (who were particularly helpful to us throughout our stay). All were a credit to the Hotel and set the standard for how to treat their guests. The breakfast was great; everything from fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, hot food selection and eggs/omelettes cooked to your liking, tea/coffee/juices etc. Couldn't fault it. We found the hotel was ideally placed to explore the City.

Lines at front desk, cost of food in lobby was ridiculous. We had lunch with three children and two adults and the price was $150!!!!!!!! It really put a negative spin on an otherwise great hotel with great people. Dont gouge your clients! Its not a Ritz.

The location was excellent. We walked out of the central station and were at the hotel in 5 minutes. The rooms were comfortable and we were able to get connecting rooms for our family.

The hotel is located only 5 min walk from the train station and 8 min from the city center. The staff on reception was friendly and helpful. We had a quiet and comfortable room on the 6th floor that met all our expectations. The coffee machine and tea set were a good addition. Supermarkets, shops, cafes, and restaurants are very close. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to my friends, and I’d absolutely stay again!

Not for all budgets (cost for room was really high). The dinner in the local restaurant (taco Tuesday) didn't impress, and prices were high. Be ready for the deposit you need to pay in addition to room price (+200 EUR in our case)

The room was very spacious and came equipped with everything we needed. The beds were also very cozy. The only downside was that we had to haul our bags up and down a flight of stairs to get to the room from the hallway, but we managed! The hotel happy hour was a nice touch, and the breakfast was good - very friendly waitstaff.

There wasn't anything major that comes to mind. There was one day where it seemed like it took all day to clean our room which was tough because we were really wanting to rest after walking around earlier in the day, but we understand that delays happen.

Location is great for exploring all Amsterdam has to offer. The social hour every afternoon was a lovely idea and to just sit for 1 hour to relax with a glass of wine and a nibble was very welcome. The gift of the hotel 'smell' (room spray!) upon departure was such a lovely touch, every time I walked into the hotel I commented on the wonderful aroma!

First day we had to ask for coffee cups to be replaced, more water in room and an extra bath towel. HOWEVER, we did only have to do that once so it really wasn't the end of the world.

Great location. Most staff incredibly friendly. Did have one bad experience with one member of staff, but overall fantastic and friendly. Good room size.

Despite having the most expensive room option, I was disappointed to discover the mini bar was not stocked and various 'extras' had not been made available. Had someone reached out in advance, I would have responded 'yes' to all the extras and been happy to pay! There was a lovely setup of wine glasses, but no wine. Also wasn't impressed with the charge for eggs at breakfast, I thought I had paid for the all inclusive experience. Had I been given the option, I would have paid upfront to avoid these additional charges. Tiny niggle, the cigarette butts under the decking / balcony could do with cleaning up!

This is a beautiful hotel and didn't disappoint in terms of service, fit-out and amenities. And so it should - it was one of the most expensive on my European holiday. The staff were very friendly, the lobby so gorgeous you won't want to leave and the in-house restaurant so good we went back the following night. Location is great if it's your first time in Amsterdam and you just have a few days, but if you're here for longer (as we were) I'd recommend getting away from this rubbish strewn, tourist area.

Unfortunately this hotel must have a contract with Viking tour company, as every day a new tour group would descend on the hotel - for example making breakfast a clogged feeding frenzy and that gorgeous lobby crowded with screeching tour guides. This definitely detracted from the luxe holiday vibe.

I had such a wonderful experience staying here during my trip to Amsterdam. The location was fantastic—right in the heart of the city and an easy walk from Central Station, which made getting around incredibly convenient. What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional staff. I was celebrating my birthday during the trip, and they went out of their way to make me feel special. Their kindness and attention to detail made the entire experience feel personal and welcoming. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean, and in a perfect spot for exploring the city. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommend, and I’d absolutely stay again!
