Fantastic location from pretty much everything in central Amsterdam. Central station is a short 5 minute walk away with trams and metro links very close by too. The hotel is situated on a small busy side street, with lots of shops and cafes. Our favourite was the ‘Friet’ shop - the chips were unreal. The room itself was clean & tidy. It was basic and small - but we only wanted a base to sleep and to shower and get ready, and it was perfect for this. For longer stays I probably wouldn’t recommend. The staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. We were able to leave our bags before checking in, and after checking out too. I would definitely stay again, do not be put off by the other reviews.

The street outside can be quite loud until 1am - this didn’t bother us at all as we didn’t get back into the room until 12am most evenings. Rooms are small and basic - but a perfect base for a short stay.

The hotel was a 5 minute walk from Centraal Station so very central accessible location, and despite being so central it was fairly quiet at night. The staff were all lovely and helpful and let us keep our bags in the hotel after checkout and the cleaners were very thorough and consistent.

The room was very small which was expected however the lack of any shelves, and only one table meant it was difficult to unpack and put our items anywhere. A few more shelves and a small bedside table would be an easy fix for this.

The hotel was in a great location if travelling without children (we weren't). Right outside was busy city streets full of life, with many of the tourists destinations that we wanted to visit very close. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from amsterdam central train station and is very easy to access. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room is on a small side, however no smaller then I was expecting in the style of building in the city centre, and having stayed in amsterdam before I can confirm it is very comparable to many other places. All in all a good stay with helpfull staff

The gentleman let us leave bags , 11am, until rooms were ready at 2pm , however he spotted us going past the hotel again shortly later , and ran out to let us know they ready ,12pm , 2 hours earlier than expected which was great , only really slept in the room , had a tv and toilet shower/room seemed modern later the following day after checking at 11am, i was desperate for toilet and they were fine for me to use after 3:30pm , which they didnt have to. Couldnt complain , may be their again next year.

I really liked the location in the heart of old Amsterdam, 5 mins walking distance from the Amsterdam Centraal, minutes from variety of stores and restaurants. I would recommend a room on the street side, it was great to open the window, listen to street noises and watch passers by when sitting on a comfortable bed just next to the window (see the photo) Breakfast is opional and needs to be ordered days in advance and frankly it is better to just eat ouside, there are so many great options close by. Free coffee, tea and water by the reception was a bonus. And a great hotel host, on the night/early morning shift who provided so many useful tips on how to move around Amsterdam and what is worth seeing.

The room was the perfect size for us as we intended to spend most of the time out and about. Just enough room for a couple. Location is excellent, very convenient for train station, tram stops and convenience stores. Very helpful and friendly 24hour staff on reception too!

Our double mattress was actually 2 singles pushed together with a double topper, they weren't attached so they did drift apart throughout the night creating a gap in the middle that one of us would fall into. Still comfy though!

Convenient for the station and central location ,can’t understand the very negative reviews. You get what you pay for ! It doesn’t pretend to be a 5 star luxury hotel. I would stay here again.

Check in was straight forward, a little early on check in but reception held our bags and put them in our room when it was ready, very helpful, enabling us to go and explore Amsterdam. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom clean shower great lots of hot water. Twin beds in room, single beds nice size mattress was a super soft one, felt like a big marshmallow, was nice but prefer a more firm one but only a small niggle. Like having a really good supermarket right next door, really cheap and quality. I liked this hotels location for Central train station, also if you like the coffeshops there are lots really close by quality once, for lots of quality coffee ;)

Location was excellent, 5 minutes walk from train station. Very central for all we needed. Supermarket next door, plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Room was just big enough for 2 people. The bathroom was nice and clean. The room was equipped with Hairdryer, a safe, a tv and an air conditioning unit. Plug sockets and light switches by the bed were handy. The price we paid included breakfast however we didn't make use of this other than the coffee

The shower flooded the wet room very quickly and took ages to drain away meaning you couldn't then use the bathroom for half an hour or so. The beds were OK, bit too squishy for my liking, felt like I was going to roll out of it.

It was a perfect stay for a business trip. The amenities are in line with the photographs, and exceeded expectations given that some reviews would have expected the worst. the friendliness of the staff and their attention was without a doubt what I liked the most and of course its location. thanks to the staff for the cordial and attentive manner over the 5 days. ps: kindness generates kindness :)
