Location is perfect to visit Amsterdam, the best starting point. Very close to the train station and all Amsterdam highligths. Good breakfast, big rooms and nice staff.

Honestly, usually I don’t complain about these things but the pillows must be changed, were very bad.

No need for a car whatsoever. Walking distance to everything we were interested in, 5 minutes to the train station, and buses, shopping, restaurants, lovely walks around town and canals and the canal cruises (the evening cruise was the best!). We loved the Hop on and hop off double decker buses. They gave us a chance to see the city. We enjoyed Amsterdam! The staff was friendly and very helpful and accommodating. We had leftovers and they heated it up for us. The room was very clean but small and comfortable, the mattresses were very comfortable. It had a tub which my husband used as his "hot tub". Thankfully there is an elevator which was need by this 77 & 72 year old couple. The breakfast was very good. We were also able to make a simple sandwich for the middle of the day, with a piece of fruit. We would be the first ones and have it to ourself for the first 20 minutes. What a lovely way to start the day. Our 2 favorite excursions was going to the train station to meet the tour that was going to the Keukenhof Gardens. Only open for 8 weeks of the year. Mid-March to mid-May. We were there April 19. The explosion of colors was like going to Disneyland. We've seen the city on foot but taking the evening canal cruise was different. Seeing Amsterdam at night is very beautiful and romantic even for us who have been married for 54 years! We definitely would come back to this hotel.

It was very pricey! And our room was kinda small. We really have no complaints.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The male receptionist is accommodating. The breakfast offered is basic but enjoyable, and I would like to commend the breakfast staff for their efforts. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. 🫰 However, we were assigned a ground-floor room, which unfortunately had a poor Wi-Fi connection. This was disappointing, especially for my child who loves playing games and watching videos on a device. The cleaning service was average. The liquid hand and body wash needed to be refilled, and its holder should have been cleaned. However, we appreciated that the towels were changed even after just one day. Overall, while there were some drawbacks, it was still a good stay and could be an excellent experience with a few improvements.

The location was excellent, a 5 minute walk from Central Station. The staff were excellent and accommodated our requests with no hesitation. The shower worked perfectly and was very good water pressure. The breakfast was included in the room price, which was a very good value for money. It was an ok breakfast , nothing spectacular, but it got the job done. Mini bar in the room was a very nice touch, but it was not free. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was also very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was quite cold throughout the day and night. Would have liked it to be warmer, considering the weather outside was not very cold. The mini bar and snack selection was very expensive, I understand this is Amsterdam, but it would be great if it was a bit cheaper. No other complaints, it was a great stay all things considered.

The location is great, very close to the central station and the main shopping street (which is very crowded so be careful while choosing) but the street is not busy so the place where the hotel is actually both central and silent. The breakfast was inclusive, I believe there is at least one for anybody. The rooms were very clean too. Don't get worried about the cold during winter as well, because the room heating was pretty much enough.

I think the room service (like tidying up) was a bit slow. When we came back to the hotel around 3 pm our room was still not ready so we had to call a staff just in case if they didn't see the cleaning up sign on the door. But except this, all staff were very helpful and friendly!

Amazing location across from Central station so easy access to attractions, restaurants etc. Clean and comfy room. Free breakfast is always welcomed and it was fine.

The breakfast room is small for the amount of guests. A rather rude and unprofessional attitude from one of the reception staff when asking for an additional small towel. Unfortunately I was not able to speak to the manager about this before checking out but in 20 odd years of staying at hotels, I have never had someone react so strangely for a request for an additional, towel. The only blot on an otherwise perfect stay.

Close to train station, breakfast was good, easy check in and check out, could also leave our bags there after check out while visiting the city before leaving.

Rooms are not soundproof. I could hear my neighbors and everyone walking above or using the elevator. So only during the late night hours when everyone was asleep was it quiet. Also the water temperature when using the shower was not good. It would be normal temperature one minute, freezing cold the next, super hot after that, and the cycle would continue over and over.

Great location a five minute walk from the central station and close to the attractions in the city center. It had an elevator in this recent renovated older building. The best thing was the breakfast, it is included in your stay and was a full spread of breakfast items. Yogurts and cereal, a variety of bread and condiments. Scrambled eggs bacon and sausages. A variety of coffee tea and juices. Very friendly staff.

There is road construction in front of the building that created some noise on the weekday but it was quiet during the weekend. There were a few steps up before you could reach the elevator. It was hard for me to lift our big suitcase up those steps.

Incredibly convenient location with fun decor and our room had a big window. Air conditioning was welcomed. Clean and cozy. The breakfast was delicious and was a Dutch-style breakfast. The staff was kind, and helpful and answered questions prior to our stay. Best coffee. Enjoyed the charm of this hotel. (don't pay any attention to the old reviews .. I had a sense this was an entirely new team and have committed to offering a boutique stay.)

Wondered why there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom, but no switch to turn it on. There was city construction outside but it didn't impede our sleep or room enjoyment. It's a busy location so there are the sounds of the city.

Excellent location by central station in Amsterdam. It’s a somewhat old fashioned style of hotel by current standards, but was spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast was good, and the lady running the breakfast area was attentive and very on the ball. No problems with storing luggage after I checked out.

The person on reception who checked me in could have taken the time to explain what he was charging to my card. It was an emergency last minute booking so I wasn’t 100% sure whether payment had already been made via Booking.com, given the rush.
