The location of the hotel is exceptional, near all transportation facilities and close to the major city attractions (except the museum area). The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Moreover, their rooms are spacious, and we were lucky to have a room with a view of the canal and central station. They also have a good gym and pool.

We would like the hotel to reevaluate three minor issues: 1) The breakfast options are limited for a 4-star hotel in Europe, especially considering the value for money. 2) The room service should invest more time in cleaning; we often found leftover dust and waste. 3) The room's lighting is impractical and dim, making it difficult to choose the best lighting option.

I brought my family to Amsterdam for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding. I wanted to make sure we chose a hotel that had both big and quiet rooms, a great gym, centrally located, and excellent workspace options. Art'otel exceeded expectations on all of the above! **** Rooms - We booked 3 Iconic View Rooms. The rooms are way bigger than what you would typically find in Amsterdam especially for the price. The king size beds were incredibly comfortable, with a few different pillow options, and high quality sheets. Unlike many hotels these days, the maid service came every single day to clean, change towels, and make the bed. Given how central the location of the hotel is right in the middle of everything Amsterdam has to offer, the rooms were surprisingly quiet with thick glass windows that shut out any sound from the street while still offering the iconic view of Amsterdam Centraal. **** Gym - We've been traveling Europe for 5 weeks and this was by far the best. It's a huge space with brand new equipment including treadmills, stationary bikes, resistance machines, free weights, and yoga mats. We went every day and basically had the place to ourselves. There's also a beautiful pool and sauna downstairs from the gym that was well maintained and a super nice post workout activity. **** Workspace - You have 2 full floors of workspaces including a more secluded lounge upstairs and nice chairs and couches downstairs. The Wifi was strong and more than enough for high quality video calls and streaming. We worked from the lounge every day and never had an issue with being disturbed. **** Staff - The staff was always super friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any guests in a pleasant manner. We did have an issue arise on our floor and the staff resolved it promptly. Niels Erenstein, GM of the hotel, even took the time to have a conversation with me regarding this to ensure we were happy with the resolution.

Fabulously situated opposite the central station. It was either easy to take local transport or to walk around the older parts of town. Lots of places to eat and drink within easy reach. Hotel was meticulously decorated and clean. Large room, well-appointed, very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the spa area and pool, daughter enjoyed the gym. Staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. We left our bags there after checkout and one member of staff said -"even though you have now checked out you are still our guest -please feel free to freshen up when you come to collect your bags." I think this really sets the tone of a place. Highly recommended.

Not much - it would have been useful to have more gluten-free options at breakfast -but to be fair we are also at the start of our journey with that.

My stay was great! The hotel is very close to the train station, making it easy to get to the airport. It's also located in the city center, where many attractions are within walking distance. It was a bit pricey for just one night, likely due to the holiday. The staff were very friendly, the decor was modern, and the breakfast offered many options — everything was delicious!

They could improve the cleanliness. I didn’t like the fact that there were a few hairs — not mine — on the bathroom floor. Also, there were no individual amenities provided; just a shared dispenser with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The location is perfect. Just in front of the train station and in the center of the city. Good gym and good breakfast. Very goos stuff

They forgot both days to clean the room. We came back in the late afternoon back at the hotel and the room was not clean. I was very upset. they did not allow to have a 10 year old kid with us and we had to pay an expensive upgrade for a suite. The rooms are vey big and I do not understand why they cannot add an extra bed. We ended up having a very expensive holiday becasue of the extra bed.

Funky decor and moody atmosphere throughout the hotel with elements of artistic flair. The laser display over the stairwell leading to the restaurant is a nice touch. Reception staff always helpful and friendly. Loved the sweetie jar at the rotating exit door!

Breakfasts were fine but not particulartly inspiring or memorable. The room was comfortable but could do with a small nightlight for getting up in the middle of the night to negotiate a route to the bathroom without waking your partner or stumbling over furniture in the dark. Annoying, typical hotel small fridge with over-priced, packed goodies no-one ever buys without any meaningful room for anything you may wish to cold store.

Hotel is in perfect location. Walking distance to all attractions. Staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating. Amazing spa and warm pool. Sauna is a must after a long day walking. Breakfast was pretty good.

Room sould be clean by 4:00pm latest. If the door has “do not disturb” sign posted, housekeeping should not call the room at 4:00pm to see if “everything was ok”. On one occasion, my room was available for cleaning all day and i returned around 4:00pm to rest and take a nap and discovered that my room was not cleaned for that day. I placed “do not disturb” sign on the door. The housekeeping phoned my room to check if “everything was ok” as they planned on cleaning my room at that time. So one suggestion would be not to disturb guests if “do not disturb” sign was posted on the door.

The Receptionists were so helpful and friendly, they were wonderful 💖. The girls and the lovely gentlemen who work at the reception were so lovely and welcoming. The bar Men were friendly. The hotel was extremely clean, very quiet,the breakfast was excellent and a very beautiful hotel and the hotel decor was excellently done.The swimming pool was clean, the gym and sauna was available to visitors. A very posh hotel and l can't wait to visit again. The fact that the hotel is opposite Amsterdam Central train station and a 5 minute walking distance to Red light district .It's also not far from Schiphol Airport, around 20 minutes by train which run every 10 minutes. It's close to all amenities as the canal cruises are also opposite the hotel, near lots of bars and eateries. Best located hotel in summary 👌 . It's amazing has it's always fully booked and that says alot.keep up the good work.

Hotel is close to the train station, easily accessible, staff were welcoming and super helpful! Hotel was kind enough to give us a free upgrade, which was so appreciated - a rarity these days! The room was spacious, clean, sound proof, and well appointed. The pool, sauna, and fitness centre are superb, a full gym and semi-heated pool. You won't regret a stay here, highly recommended if you're visiting Amsterdam.

The rooms were serviced daily but it was clearly rushed by the cleaners - the coffee/milk wasn't fully restocked once, there was a cleaners cloth left in our room, and the bed was sort of "thrown together" when made. The pool/spa/gym area is great but it's a bit hard to find as you have to walk through the restaurant to get there - make sure to bring a robe!

I stayed in this gorgeous hotel for one night while in transit through Amsterdam. The location simply can't be beat - once you walk out of the central station, it's right there. More shopping, bars and restaurants than you could possibly hope to visit in one trip lie within easy walking distance. The room was spacious, luxurious and tastefully decorated, offering excellent quality of sleep. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to enjoy what looked like a serene pool and well-equipped fitness center.

While this is a luxury hotel in a prime location, be prepared for a price tag to match, not just on the room but on extras as well.
