I really was not interested in breakfast but, it seems that everyone looks so satisfied with their food and particularly me with the excellent coffee and the variety of it, any style was delicious and prepare just as one likes it. The staff is so helpful, cheerful and anxious to help, for real. I'm so sorry I didn't the name of all of them, but Flora in the morning is such a sweet girl and Marta in the evening is truly amazing, she made so easy my check in and all the time I was there, she was very attentive to my needs and confort. I was very impressed with all the staff for real, they all are great! I really love this place and have been and excellent experience with the capsules rooms; a real new experience, it's really, truly awesome and safe all the way!!!

Very clean and modern room and bathroom. Great location.

One evening I ate at the bar and that’s where the receptionist is. I was there for less than an hour and in that time she issued 4 replacement room keys. She never asked anyone for ID. And only asked one person their name. It didn’t make me feel safe that keys were being issued without validating they were guests.

Staff were amazing, everything was clean and the price and location were spot on! They checked us in early and the free coffee in the morning was a god send, we found it so comfortable navigating the hostel, we felt like we had our own little apartment! We even ate at the restaurant attached to the hostel and the food and staff there were fantastic!

The fire alarm did go off in the middle of the night, but the staffed warned us about that, there was a few loud neighbors in terms of knocking on doors but again not a big thing, there really isn't anything we didn't like about it, defo booking there again :D

Location, price, and staff were all amazing. The room is perfect for 1st time in Amsterdam. Super close to the central station, so made getting public transport a dream. The bathrooms were lovely, especially the showers. Nice spacey stalls with plenty of hot water, which was lovely after long days of walking about. Pleanty of clean towels to use aswell which is nice. Stayed in a top bunk cube, and the room was super soundproofed, which made sleeping nice and undisturbed. The steps to the upper bed could be a touch tricky to get about, but it was manageable. Was able to open carry-on cases on the floor to sort through but was tight. The steps had loads of storage options. Unsure how the storage in the lower bunk cube rooms are laid out but may be similar.The room was perfect for my 1st time to amsterdam on a budget, so i am delighted with the trip overall.

Just wish the rooms were a touch bigger or a clear share space to relax that wasn't locked away in the room. There is the restaurant downstairs we chilled in the mornings, but did not want to take up too much space, as we did not dine in every night. In hostels, I have stayed in the past having a chill common space I took full advantage of and enjoyed, which this hostel did not have. If it did, that was one thing never shared, but it could be on me for not asking if we could relax in the restaurant on any eve. The rooms got stuffy easily with 2 people in, and a touch hard to air out the room so if there was some sort of ac that would make it lovely.

The hostel is very clean and quiet, especially for being right in the middle of the party district. I could not hear any noise outside. I would highly recommend if you want to stay in the area and still sleep. The train station is a 3 minute walk , there is food all over, everything you need right there without sacrificing comfort or paying for an expensive hotel.

As perfectly central as you can get in Amsterdam, this is a 'cube hotel' which means a clean, private, but tiny space for one or two people. Just enough space to stand up and hang up your coat before sliding into your upper or lower fresh white mattress. I prefer the upper cubes with a few steps up to your bed. Very compact. But who wants to hang out in a hotel room in Amsterdam anyway? Just perfect to crash out in. Communal, very clean bathrooms with great showers and fresh, fluffy towels. Very friendly reception staff and free tea/ coffee in the morning. And I loved playing with the coloured lights. Fun!

Only complaint, a bit of a pong coming from the communal bathrooms, but I'm told this is normal for Amsterdam due to stagnant canal water.

Pros Location great Quiet room, comfortable bed Clean room Staff are very friendly and helpful especially the night shift man who was on he was very helpful so a special thank you to that man I don't know his name but he was working on the night of the 9th of Jan . I will definitely return and recommend to solo and couple travellers.

Cons Room small but perfect for one person Smell coming from the shared bathroom, not pleasant constantly smelt like poo But this was the only downside and what can you expect from a shared bathroom - but maybe you should add a sign to the toilet door asking people to leave the toilet door open after they have gone for a poo so the smell filters out quicker, otherwise the smell just gets trapped behind the toilet door and it was unbearable to go toilet at times.

Give a medal to the staff, they deserve a Xmas bonus! Mariana and Flora were super welcoming and sweet!!! Clean room and bathroom, the location is just exceptional! If you are a person who just needs a place to sleep without jogging in the bedroom, this is definitely the place, and having a restaurant is very convenient (plus the surroundings, plenty of bars and other food options). The free coffee also makes the difference (even my neighbor don't offers me that).

It was all good, just a heads-up if you're reading it: I wouldn't recommend if you have any kind of claustrophobia, the rooms are to sleep, not to walk around.

So firstly, I want to thank every staff member I met for making my stay so memorable. Marian, for her lovely smile, Flora for her charm and helpfulness, Marta for her warmth, Jess for her friendliness, and Anna our conversations really stuck with me, and I appreciated every moment we shared. And a special shoutout to my brother Felicie, the bartender, who always knew what I needed, whether it was the right drink or the words that I needed to hear or a mixture of both.. Thanks guys, I needed all of that. I hope our paths collide in the future once again.

It was based in such a good area very tourist comfortable. I had a lower cube room, which I thought wouldn’t be good but it was actually very comfortable and cool. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay and were said to leave. The lights were great and many charging ports. My only complaint is that I would often get too warm during the night but I prefer a cold room anyways. But just take the duvet off and it was completely fine! The shutter on the side of the room one was broken but we worked out a way to balance it and it was fine! The toilets had everything you needed. Always a shower free, clean towels, hairdryer and shampoo and body wash. We were very happy here and I’d definitely suggest it! :)
