No frills hotel only a few minutes walk from the station. We stayed here one night before an early train to London and the location couldn’t have been better. We were checked in by a very friendly member of staff who was working the bar downstairs. Our room was large enough for two of us, and the shared bathroom and shower were clean. There’s a sink in the room so you don’t need to leave to brush your teeth etc… Room was pretty hot during the day and took a long time to cool down in the evening. We did have a fan provided but had to keep the window open too, so there was a little street noise (fortunately it was a Sunday night, so street noise was not too bad). Ear plugs are provided by the hotel. All in all we would definitely stay here again if we were in Amsterdam for a night, but we wouldn’t be looking forward to it.

Entrance to rooms is via a steep staircase which would be impossible to navigate if you have mobility issues. Most of the noise came from our neighbours, who knocked on each other’s doors a few times after 11pm and disturbed us.

Excellent room, very comfortable. Massage chair was a nice surprise. Great staff. Noise was not too loud considering all the warnings about noise levels, the provided ear plugs went unused. The bathroom was great. Biggest bathroom i've had in amsterdam and the first one with a bathtub. Room description is very accurate!

The stairs are what i've come to expect after many years of travelling to Amsterdam, definitely not the worst i've come across. As for all the complaints about the noise. I don't remember many times where central Amsterdam doesn't remain noisy until about 2am. I always choose to sacrifice peace and quiet for a better location.

Casper was super hospitable, friendly, and even helped take up our suitcases. The location is 10/10 especially when you're a 5 minute walk away from the Centraal Station, and red light district. The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice vibe to it. Smoking inside is allowed as long as you keep the window cracked open which was a huge plus. The bathroom was also spacious and super clean. The massage chair was my wife's favourite, she enjoyed it the whole time we were there. We were given earplugs for our stay, but we didn't need them.

The lighting inside the room was a bit dim, would have been nice to brighten up the room at night. A small standing mirror was inside the closet, however, I believe it would have made more sense to have it hung on the bathroom door from the outside. The fire alarm went off once, but it was a false alarm.

Good location. Everything that we wanted to visit and see were within walking distance. Close to train station that goes to airport. Clean bed sheets. Shared toilet and shower room clean enough too. Wash basin in room helpful for handwashing, bushing teeth and face. Bath towels and hand towels provided were clean too. Heater worked well in the very cold weather. Hotel stored our luggage free of charge after check out. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very steep and narrow staircase that made it very challenging to move luggages up and down. As it was a pub just downstairs, it was noisy at nights. There was the smell of smoke that goes into the room and corridor as the rooms allowed smoking.

The staff are amazing, it’s a smoking room which is rare in Amsterdam, it’s on the strip of pubs in the city centre, 2 minutes away from the red light, yeah won’t get better for location free drink on arrival and 10% off in the pub what more could you ask for really. If your on the edge wether to book it get it booked it’s a belter spot

Nothing everything was great if you don’t like loud atmospheres then maybe not the place for you but saying that Amsterdam won’t be a place for you if that’s the case,

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city, which made it extremely convenient for exploring. We spent some time at the hotel bar in the evening, and I must say, it was a great place to relax. The bartender was exceptionally courteous and helpful, always ensuring we had everything we needed. His professionalism truly made our experience more enjoyable. Thank you for providing such a pleasant environment, and for the top-notch service. I will definitely recommend your hotel to others and look forward to staying again in the future.

Super friendly staff- the room was ready earlier than expected, when we arrived just to drop luggage! Lovely coffee and a nice 10% off when drinking in the bar- staff are happy to help and explain the different tipples available 🍻 My partner and I walked up some super steep typical Amsterdam stairs, to enter an amazing big room with wooden beading above the super comfy bed! The room was split into two parts, and ensuite! The sitting area had a massage chair situated in front of a gorgeous window that opens fully, bringing in the sounds of the nearby hustle and bustle. The view was immense! The bathroom/wet room is decorated beautifully and consists of a huge deep bath with a separate shower.. a touch button mirror with blue lighting that is just perfect for a relaxing spa 🛁 The location was perfect, short walk from all tourist areas- some lovely cocktail bars, pubs and restaurants located on the same street.. we honestly, cannot wait to come again, we was looking at future bookings before leaving for our ferry ⛴️

This hotel is right in the heart of Amsterdam, and we couldn't have picked a better spot! The location was perfect—literally steps away from all the action, which made getting around super easy. The staff were super friendly and helped us out with anything we needed. The vibe inside the hotel was really cozy and welcoming, with a traditional design. Plus, after a long day exploring the city, it was great to come back to such a comfortable and chill place. Definitely a top pick if you’re looking to stay in the city center! Can’t wait to come back !

Perfect location. Everything you need is around. The bed was so big and so cosy and soft, that it felt even better than at home. I really enjoyed the Amsterdam’s authentic vibe of the house. They have 3 different lights in the room, so you can make a really nice vibe in the evenings. It felt like home.

It could be nice if there would be a hair dryer in the shower room.

The hotel had an excellent location. It was one of the most sought-after location in the city of Amsterdam. It is just beside the Amsterdam Centraal train station (a few mins walk), a two mins walk from tram and bus stops, and a few mins walk to the Amsterdam Canal Cruise. A few mins walk to Oude Kirk, Our Lord in the Attic museum, Sexmuseum etc. Tourists staying in other places have to pay and commute to come to this area, but we were basically staying there. So in that way it was amazing. The location was one of the top cafe-restaurants and party areas of the city. The hotel had a great bar at the ground floor, along with a lot of bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants at its absolute vicinity. The bathroom and toilet were nice and clean.

The room was very small. The amenities was very basic. The staircase was extremely steep and very less space to climb up. We had trouble ascending the staircase to Level 2 because of its cramp and steep nature. I understand that the city of Amsterdam is expensive and the location of the hotel is pitch perfect, but I believe considering everything else, also considering the bathroom was hared between four rooms, as well as less space and less amenities in the room, the price of the room was very expensive. It should have been no more than 90-95 Euro. It was also very noisy in the night due to all tourists roaming outside in the streets due to all those pubs and bars. The hotel provided us with ear guards for sleep.
