Absolutely perfect location. It's at the end of Red Light District so you can avoid the crowd and the dealers if you want to, simply by entering from the North. It's 5 minutes from Centraal Station and 3 from Damrak. The object is more hotel-like than other Amsterdam hotels. It's clean and professional, with en-suite bathrooms and clean and professional service. Yet pricing is more affordable than similar hotels that are a long way from the canal area. This will be the first hotel we'll check for room availability when we'll go to Amsterdam next time.

It would be nitpicking to find something wrong here. You can't open the windows so there's no air, so you got to make do with A/C on fan mode. We had it on constantly, even through the night.

The location was perfect for a few days located in the heart of Amsterdam on the outskirts of the red light district. Staff are super friendly and can't do enough. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels. You are not going to spend your days in your room. As small as it was I would definitely book this hotel again.

Had a canal view room. It is very small and had to shimmy sideways to get in to bed. Bathroom small too but hot water and powerful shower.Had to sit sideways on toilet to avoid banging knees on sink

Location is great, close to Train Station, Restaurants, shopping places. Staff are 200% super nice! Love them!

There is no elevator in the building. It is good for younger travellers but not advisable for Seniors if they assign you a room in the attic. It would have been nice if they provided a kettle for hot water. Also, a screen in the window would be great so that insects wont come in when we open the windows for air to come in. The room becomes really warm since there is no AC. The electric fan provided was not working properly (loud and does not rotate!)

For the price we paid for 4 people we was extremely happy with our room! The room was spacious, with a gorgeous view and was very modern. For the price, we could not fault it. The room was cleaned daily, with new towels etc all included. The location is good, everything is close by. Before coming we was anxious about how close it was to the red light district however we never experienced one singular issue! Staff were all so lovely and helpful, they gave us an early check in after having an early morning flight & kept our luggage behind the desk when we checked out!!

The only downfall to the hotel is how uncomfy the beds are, however you get what you pay for!

The location is perfect specially for a quick visit. In the heart of the city & everything you want to see. The staff were excellent & amazing. Checked in by Tommy I believe & checked out by Stef (unsure of the spellings). The amenities are very basic but it’s good enough for the value. Staff are so accommodating though.

The stairs are very steep but we are informed of this before coming. Had a little difficulty mixing the shower with hot/ cold so we just have to be careful & it was time consuming.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was fantastic, just a short walk from all the main attractions in Amsterdam, including the Red Light area right around the corner. There were plenty of charming cafes and restaurants nearby, making it easy to explore the local cuisine. Access to the hotel was effortless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Although our original room was a bit small for our needs, they graciously upgraded us to a larger room at a reasonable extra charge. Overall, a delightful experience!

Our stay had several challenges. The stairs were very steep, making it difficult to climb and carry luggage. Additionally, the air conditioning in the entire hotel was not working, and we were not informed about this in advance or mentioned anywhere on Booking.com. The room size was extremely small, which could be problematic for families traveling with kids. We would recommend considering the room size carefully before booking.

Great location with a view of canal and busy street below. Payable coffee machine and vending machine provided in foyer was good. Plenty of storage in room and multiple charging ports. Powerful shower! Helpful reception who allowed us to store our luggage after check-out so we could explore the city.

Although it didn't affect me, our room was on the top floor which was accessible only by stairs (the last flight of stairs were particularly steep) - just something to be aware of. :)

We stayed at the Facade Hotel Amsterdam for 2 days, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel’s location is perfect, as it is conveniently close to the train station, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. The service was outstanding, especially the reception staff, who were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam and looking for great service in a central location!
