A charming hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful—when I asked for recommendations, one of them even took the time to write me a personalized list of places to visit. While the room was on the smaller side, it was spotless and comfortable. In the morning, they serve complimentary coffee and croissants, which is a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located near many shops, restaurants, and major attractions, all within walking distance. The metro and train stations are just a 5-minute walk away.

The location was very central. Less than 5 mins walk from Amsterdam central station. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly! The hotel also had elevator which was very helpful considering its in the middle of Amsterdam. They also had umbrella's you can borrow, although we learned this later on after buying our own. They also had a mini breakfast nook. Just be early - like on our second day, we didn't have any bread or croissant left but there is always coffee and tea available 24/7.

There were some stains inside the room, looks like beer stains in the wall that was splashed and dried. The bed side socket as well, gave me a shock.. I already told the staff about it when we left (seems like the previous guest put something in it and was left there.)

Excellent location close to the railway station and easy walking to all areas of central Amsterdam and only half an hour to the museum platz (or you could use the tram/metro). Late arrival was no problem as the desk is manned 24 hours. Good size room and decent bathroom. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice touch that they presented you with a food parcel on checking out (snacks and a drink).

Only slight downside and this may only affect the top floor, was the constant rumble of what I assume were the aircon/heat units either on the hotel or neighbouring properties? and the pipes made a random drip noise. However, after the first night I got used to the sounds and slept better.

The location is just amazing. It has an elevator and a luggage storage room. The candies and coffee that are available at any time are real life savers, specially when you are walking about a lot., because you can actually pop into the hotel at any time as it is ao centrally located.The complimentary breakfast is just right. The hotel is situated right near to all the places tourists visit- Dam Sqaure, Red Lught area etc. There are many and varied restaurants around the hotel. The staff are very friendly and always serving with a smile.

The hotel has a great location—just a short walk from the central train station and main attractions, so it's super easy to get around on foot. It’s close enough to everything but not right in the red-light district, which I appreciated. One thing to keep in mind: the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, but honestly, that wasn’t a big deal. There are tons of restaurants and cafés nearby, so finding a good bite in the morning was easy. On the plus side, the staff is super friendly and really tries to make your stay enjoyable, which made up for some of the downsides. If you're visiting to explore the city and don’t plan to spend too much time in your room, it’s a great option. Oh, and a little bonus—the hotel has snacks in the lobby, and the coffee from the machine is actually pretty good! I’m usually not a fan of hotel coffee, so that was a nice surprise. Kudos to the team for that!

The room was fine, but a bit outdated. One thing that stood out was the shower—it’s fixed high up with no way to adjust it or take it lower. So if you have long hair and don’t want to wash it every time you shower, that’s something to keep in mind. There was no shower cap provided, and no hairdryer in the room, which was a bit inconvenient. Our room was on the ground floor, and the window faced a tiny street that was pretty messy, full of rubbish. The window had a non-transparent cover, so you don’t have to look at it, but if you’re curious and peek through, well…

the property is right in the midst of everything and anything you would want to do in Amsterdam. the staff at reception are very good and very helpful with everything. we stayed there for 4 days and LUXER just grew on us. Highly recommend everyone to stay here.

Location was great for being central to Damrak and near the Centraal Station. The staff on arrival were super friendly and informative. The bed was comfy and the heating worked great in the room. The room was good value for money given the location and was handy for being central to bars, restaurants and a lot of attractions. The bar and reception are open and manned 24 hours. Room was cleaned daily to a really good standard and the cleaner was really polite and friendly. On check out they gave us a bag of snacks and drinks for our journey which is a really lovely touch and not many places are so thoughtful.

The building is a typical traditional Amsterdam building so right onto a busy street so expect some noise. The age of the building does also mean any noise from corridors or neighbours can be heard. Bathroom was tiny and although functional it was difficult to move in there, smaller sink would allow better access to the toilet and shower. Decor us dated but does the job.

Very clean hotel right in the middle of town. Restaurants were nearby and it was easy to get to the station. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend staying here!

The pillows were a bit different than what I'm used to. It's a square pillow instead of a rectangular shape so it's a bit hard to get used to. The lighting in the room is very dim and the shower sprays a light mist instead of a steady stream of water.

Great reception and only a short walk from the Central Station in Amsterdam. A quiet room accessed with a lift. No view, but extremely comfy beds and clean and shiny shower and loo. Helpful staff on travelling info and an unexpected 'departure bag' of refreshments for our journey back. Such a great touch! An amazing location to start looking around Amsterdam.

The first view of the room was a bit underwhelming as some bleach marks on the carpet, by the bathroom, but it really didn't matter overall as had a very comfortable 2 nights there.

Excellent location right in heart of the city. Everything within easy walking distance. No shortage of restaurants and bars. Staff friendly and chatty. Room basic but bed very comfy, bit tired in places but cant fault it for the price. 100% we’d return here again. Nice touches despite room only, croissants, biscuits etc at breakfast time and a goody bag when departing.

Can’t fault anything, room a little tired but perfectly adequate. Air con a bonus for the heating. Toilet a bit cramped but as everywhere in Amsterdam, space is a premium
