The best location in asmterdam!, near of canals, restaurants and commerce, red light district, amsterdam central train and metro stations! The personal and the clean services is very good

In my personal opinion, the room have poor natural light, but is not problem for tourists that arrive late to rest.

I loved the location. It was so close to the train station and the centre of Amsterdam. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable and I had a great view of a canal from the window. Having free coffee and tea downstairs was really good.

The location of Hotel CC is perfect if you want to be near the action of the bars and restaurants in the red light district. There's no shortage of bright lights and loud voices out in the street! The hotel itself seems to be an older building that was modernized for this hotel. The wooden beams were all painted, but you still get the sense of the old style workmanship. The room was decorated nicely and it was clean. The front desk staff was always friendly and ready to assist. We were a family of four and stayed on the third floor. We did not arrange breakfast through the hotel.

The downsides of Hotel CC include the street noise and lack of refrigerator in the room. You should know that it will be noisy if you stay in the red light district. The front desk does offer to put your items in their refrigerator, if needed. The corridors of the hotel are a labyrinth, so you will go up and down different staircases to get to your room The rooms were a bit dark. There was hardly any exhaust in the bathroom, so you have to vent it, probably by opening the room windows to help the humidity escape. None of this would be a reason not to stay here.

Great location near to the red light district and Amsterdam Centraal

Staff at the reception were so nice, friendly and always tried to help. They made you feel welcome. Hotel room was clean and exactly like at the picture, really beautiful. Location of the hotel was excellent, walking distance to all places you want to visit in Amsterdam. Around the hotel are many nice restaurants. Breakfast place next the hotel made really nice breakfast.

There was some refurbishment work going on at the hotel. Builders started work after 8 am which was very loud and they woke us up every morning. I didn't find bed very comfortable, but I used to very good quality mattress.

As far as locations go for central Amsterdam you will struggle to beat this. I appreciate you are going to pay a premium for a hotel with this location, but as a comparison for other hotels in this area this was the cheapest and we had no complaints. Staff lovely and welcoming, allowed us to leave baggage safely upon arrival as we were early, and the same after we checked-out as we still had the whole day to explore. Unlimited hot drinks and just a super attentive feel to the place!

Generally would struggle to name a downside about this hotel!

For reference, I stayed in the single room with canal view. - The room is small but laid out well. For one person, it’s a comfortable stay. - The canal view is worth it. You’re able to see sunrise over the canal from your window. - The location is very close to Central Station (5 min walk). This is a great option if you have an early flight. You are also right on a very touristy street, which can either be good or bad depending on what you want. - Despite the noise outside, the hotel was relatively quiet. I didn’t hear anything other than some minor noise in the hall when other people were going into/out of their rooms. - Comfortable beds - Clean bathrooms

This small room was not an issue for me, but in order to help others, I do want to point out the bathroom may feel cramped if you’re tall. I’m 5’10”, and I could wash my hands while sitting on the toilet. This could be a positive for some people though. If you want more space, I’d recommend a bigger room at this hotel.

We stayed in the double room with Canal view. The views from the room were excellent, and certainly were the highlight. The bed was comfortable for us. Bathroom was good, with a separate shower and bath. We noted the bath was a good size if that is your thing. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Our room was quiet, even though hotel is in a very vibrant hospitality area.

This is a heritage building so there are accessibility issues, which is understandable in a building of this age. There are steps on most floors that need to be navigated, so recommend you check with hotel if you have issues.

Perfectly located for various main attractions and areas Central station, dam square, bars, restaurants and coffee shops in de wallen, red light area, etc all easily walkable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms like most in amsterdam are small but the one we had was fine and very clean. Option of late check out for 15euros was very handy and considering the prices of other places ive stayed in amsterdam which were much more expensive for less quality, Id recommend this no problems.

The ever helpful staff, the location and cleanliness. There aren't too many hotels with lifts but cc is not one of them. They have a functional lift. Location is awesome within 10 mins of central station even if you walk slow, less than 5 mins from a team or bus stop. Red light area, shopping streets, canal cruises all within 3-5 mins walking distance.

We'd booked 2 rooms and one of them had a low ceiling and the bathroom had a washbasin blocking the way to the comode. Staff was understanding enough to change that room for 2/6 nights to a bigger room eventually. Other than the size of the rooms being really small no major complaints. Breakfast is served everyday in a restaurant next door.... extremely limited vegetarian options there for vegetarians/vegans. Better to choose room without breakfast and explore around.
