The staff were very helpful, welcoming and responsive. There was no view from hotel room it was looking into a quadruple 2m x2m.

There was nothing I did not like.

Our first impression wasn’t great — we were placed on the ground floor facing a busy street. But after the first night, we realized it wasn’t so bad: the sound insulation was surprisingly good and street noise didn’t really bother us. Overall, the hotel is solid, though not perfect. Ironically, the biggest downside is the location. While it’s right in the heart of the city, I’d personally recommend staying a bit outside the center unless you’re a fan of Amsterdam’s nightlife scene — then this spot is ideal. Other than that, everything was fine. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bathroom worked perfectly.

I loved the location. It was so close to the train station and the centre of Amsterdam. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable and I had a great view of a canal from the window. Having free coffee and tea downstairs was really good.

In my personal opinion, the room have poor natural light, but is not problem for tourists that arrive late to rest.

This hotel was charming, efficient and comfy. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Given that it's in an old building in the center of town, they made great use of the space. It had an elevator but I was on an upper floor which required one flight of stairs, not a huge deal, but the staff helped me get my bags up that flight, which I really appreciated. The room itself was small but adorable, very comfortable and had everything I needed, a desk, a very nice bathroom, a very comfy single bed and a TV, closet, etc. and AIR CONDITIONING, which was sorely needed! There was a shop on the ground floor with things like Orange Juice, Milk, Soda, etc. I'd stay there again anytime. The location was perfect, very close to the train station and in the middle of many shops, restaurants, historic buildings.

This was not the hotel's fault at all. But the streets of Amsterdam have bricks, so getting down the street was a bit of a challenge because it's crowded and the bricks make it very bumpy with the wheely suitcases. So just be prepared with strong suitcase wheels.

From the outside this hotel looks deceptively small, however this Very central property catered to my needs. I was visiting for a conference. Rooms were clean and reasonably sized. I loved the shower. I had a canal view, and very fortunate to have bright Sunny skiers to help wake me up in the morning.

The room itself provides the necessities, bed, shower, tv and air con. However, my only slightly negative/ annoying thing, was that there were mini steps, in the room, which is painful of you trip over and had to be careful you don’t lose your footing when leaving the hotel room as there’s an immediate drop down from closing the door. In addition the room being quite dark, especially in the evening. It could do with an extra light in the corridor, in-front of the mirror so you can see yourself.

The location of Hotel CC is perfect if you want to be near the action of the bars and restaurants in the red light district. There's no shortage of bright lights and loud voices out in the street! The hotel itself seems to be an older building that was modernized for this hotel. The wooden beams were all painted, but you still get the sense of the old style workmanship. The room was decorated nicely and it was clean. The front desk staff was always friendly and ready to assist. We were a family of four and stayed on the third floor. We did not arrange breakfast through the hotel.

The downsides of Hotel CC include the street noise and lack of refrigerator in the room. You should know that it will be noisy if you stay in the red light district. The front desk does offer to put your items in their refrigerator, if needed. The corridors of the hotel are a labyrinth, so you will go up and down different staircases to get to your room The rooms were a bit dark. There was hardly any exhaust in the bathroom, so you have to vent it, probably by opening the room windows to help the humidity escape. None of this would be a reason not to stay here.

Great location near to the red light district and Amsterdam Centraal

The location is perfect right in the heart of the city 10 mins stroll from Centraal. Of particular note was the amazing friendly staff team. The room was exactly as described+ bonus extras, the free coffee and tea available at reception 24/7,  the room service & air con. Not been to Amsterdam since 2008 , so many changes but all the important aspects remain. It's still a top destination. Overall reasonable value for a international city centre hotel.We enjoyed our short stay. Happy to recommend would book again . Thank you
