Absolute perfect hotel whether you’re staying in Amsterdam for a short or long trip. It is in a quiet enough area (so you can sleep peacefully) but is close to everything you need! Room was perfect + the bathroom had great lighting (for the ladies doing their makeup) and the bed was extremely comfortable :) Would happily stay in this hotel again!!

This didn’t bother us as we were only there for 3 nights but if you have an iPhone it won’t connect to the tv to watch Netflix etc. as it only works with android.

Great location and good price for a hotel with a private in-room full bathroom. Hotel was well decorated, clean, and provided professional service.

Room lighting was poor. Dark with lack of natural light, and ceiling lights were bright and pointed in your face/view with low ceiling. No where to put your suitcase but the floor, which we hadn't experienced at the four other European hotels this trip. I would still book there again, but these are the issues for them to address to make the experience more desirable.

This hotel a perfect all in one package with a fair price tag. The location of the hotel is perfect for discovering the city, as all sightseeing spots can easily be reached by foot or by tram, bus, ferry or metro from the central station that is only a 5-7 minute walk away from the hotel. There is even a metro exit 2 minutes from the hotel, from where you can get to the station all underground, which is very convenient especially when it‘s a rainy day. The hotel has a boutique hotel flair, with clean and spacious rooms (for Amsterdam). The elevators are very quiet and the view on the canal is lovely (if you book a canal view room). Plenty of food options around the hotel, so we opted for eating breakfast outside.

The family love, loved, LOVED this hotel! Quirky, clean, cold rooms, great hang-out area downstairs & the staff was so friendly & helpful. The beds were comfy, and the rooms were spacious. So close to the train station!!

Didn't love walking outside to the street where bikes tended to use the road as the thoroughfare. It's next to or at the edge of the crowded red light district & a street on the other side of the canal was under construction, so I do think this road had extra locals biking. There isn't much of a sidewalk, making it treacherous for people & bikes. The shower ceiling had some mold, and with the dim lighting in there, it was a bit creepy.

Fantastic Central Location and Exceptional Service We stayed at this hotel during a 24-hour layover, and it was an excellent choice. The central location made it incredibly convenient, and getting to the hotel from the airport was easy with a taxi. Upon departure, the hotel kindly arranged a taxi for us, as the Uber pick-up spot was a bit of a walk away—something we appreciated given our large suitcases. Check-in was seamless, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The rooms were fantastic—moody lighting that suited the gray, rainy weather during our visit. The overall design of the hotel is beautifully thought out, and the showers and available products were luxurious touches. The hotel’s proximity to the canal made for a gorgeous view once the sun came up, even on a foggy morning. While the on-site restaurant wasn’t open, the honesty bar offered some nice snacks, and it was easy to order in for dinner, which suited us as we didn’t want to head out in the rain. Breakfast was a highlight with freshly prepared options like omelets, pancakes, and waffles, along with great coffee available in the breakfast area, the honesty bar, and the rooms. One small improvement would be providing more sugar and cream in the rooms to match the generous coffee offerings. Overall, this hotel offers a wonderful experience, especially if you book a larger room—the more space you have, the better the stay! Highly recommended for its design, service, and thoughtful touches.

Really loved the decor and the ambiance in the hotel in general - so chic! The self-serve bar was also so great when coming back from the hotel from dinner. The location was also so perfectly central and easily accessible. So great to walk to and from dinner, museums and markets at most parts of town! The staff were also so nice and helpful.

The lighting in the bathroom was not great for putting makeup on and there were no full length mirrors in the room except for a black mirrored pane connected to some coat hooks in the darkest corner of the room - therefore impossible to actually see in the mirror. Please put a full length mirror for future! People want to see what they are wearing before they go out. :)

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, located in charming old buildings along the canal in the heart of Amsterdam. The exceptional view of the canal and its proximity to all the main tourist attractions made exploring the city a breeze, as everything was within walking distance. The interior design was beautiful, with unique touches of Chinese decor, perfectly blending into its location in Chinatown. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I was especially grateful for the early check-in they kindly provided. The hotel was also impeccably clean, which added to the overall comfort.

The only downside was the breakfast. For a 4-star hotel, I expected a bit more variety. The options were too basic, and I would have loved a more expansive selection to start the day.

Good Location, everything was very walkable including the train station. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean.

Main problem was that it was a uncharacteristically hot day for Amsterdam when we checked in ( one deciding factor for choosing this hotel was air conditioning) the air never worked while we were there - front desk said someone was supposed to fix it the first day. The room was very warm/ uncomfortable first night and still pretty unpleasant the second night. We had a window that opened- but unfortunately just to an interior courtyard without much air movement.

Rooms were a great size - even what they term a ‘small’ double. Still had a king size bed and plenty of room around it. Good size bathroom. Excellent location. Just a minute or 2 from Centraal station and a few mins walk from Dam Square and the Red Light district. Liked the honesty bar and all the facilities.

Rooms were a little dark. Older folks in the party disliked this more and were on a lower (1st floor) room which didn’t help (other buildings blocking the light). You could hear other parties in the hotel but that’s probably to be expected on a weekend in Amsterdam! Overall it’s in a very quiet location - right on a canal.
