You honestly can’t get a better location – just a €5, 15-minute trip from the main train station. It’s also within easy walking distance to the river tours, Anne Frank’s House, loads of great food spots, and only about 10 minutes from the Red Light District — close enough to visit, but far enough away that you’re not right in the middle of the noise. The staff were incredibly polite, professional, and welcoming from the moment we arrived, which really made us feel at ease. The building has that classic Dutch charm and fit the area perfectly. We stayed in a cozy attic room on the top floor with a lovely bathroom, two big windows, and air conditioning – ideal after a long day out exploring. It never felt cramped, just peaceful and comfortable.

Absolutely nothing

The Hotel was moden, clean, the rooms are small but are exactly what I would expect from a small hotel in Amsterdam center. We arrived early to drop our bags and our rooms were already available which is amazing. The Air-con in the rooms is very effective which we greatly appreciated given the 30c weather while we were there. The staff were very friendly, explained everything well and had space to check our bags in after we checked out on our last day.

Although the bathroom facilities were great, the shower was nice and powerful. The only downside was the bathroom is quite dark, the room we had was on the top floor, no natural light in the bathroom but no mirror in the bedroom itself so might be difficult for people wanting to apply makeup. (pack a compact mirror just incase)

Fabulous location, rooms clean and comfortable. if you want a bar area this isn't the place for you but if it is somewhere to get your head down , this is perfect. Towels / room cleaned daily. tea and coffee facilities in the room. Complimentary toiletries in the room (shampoo / conditioner / body wash. free coffee machine in the reception. i was concerned about the previous reviews but this is simply a decent hotel with friendly staff in a decent location. If i had to complain about anything, its that there was only 1 mirror in the bathroom which kept steaming up. Not a massive issue all good.

Location was perfect - right in the city centre next to everything! Central Station just a short walk away :) we were very unsure of what to expect of the rooms after reading reviews however we had 3 separate rooms and couldn't fault any of them! Plenty of room, modern and comfy beds!

Booking.com doesn't advise on the additional payment for tax upon check in - disappointing as we had not accounted for this so ate into our spending money. We had a mix up with luggage on check out in which we were given the incorrect case however hotel resolved the issue and shipped our luggage home.

Lovely location, nice and clean, nice modern design, great kind staff. Love that they lock the doors at 10pm. Free tea and coffee machine, vending machine inside, provide shower supplies, soundproof can't hear any traffic, free luggage storage

Bathroom is a wet room, the shower is slow draining so the whole bathroom becomes a swimming pool if your taking a normal length shower, you have to shower quickly, very steep stairs inside our room, i didn't mind it but incase you've got older people or have a preference.

Everything!!! There's a lift to the front right of the front door, so any complaints about stairs are void! The reason for a partial door on the toilet is to avoid MOULD BUILD UP, how can people not understand this?! Perfect design! Towels and bedding changed daily, not a single bit of mess and the staff are top notch! Didn't ask for a deposit, gave a map and crossed all the good locations to visit and when I thought my train ticket was my door fob (after a night of Amsterdam Amusements), staff came within 5 minutes to unlock the door and give me a new one at midnight, didn't complain once about doing so, extremely professional especially when I wasn't! Room 301 is the one to be! Booking another trip at the start of June, one of the main reasons is this hotel!

Loved my room, clean and surprisingly spacious. Excellent location, just minutes away from Amsterdam central station and in short walking distance to most of the attractions.

Can't really complain, I had a good time on my short stay. Maybe one little thing, some guests were a little noisy (banging their doors), since I'm a really light sleeper I was occasionally startled. Overall I had a great time and would come back again.

Great location! It's easy to find it and arrive to. It has trams close by to connect everywhere. The Centraal station is really close, so it's easy to arrive from the airport and easy to connect to everywhere -we actually left Amsterdam with Eurostar train and headed to Brussels and Luxembourg. Staff is super friendly and helpfull. The room and the building had prober Dutch uniqueness, which we like and kind of hoped for (meaning for example the odd stairs ;-) )

A little wear and tear here and there, but overall clean and funktional. Didn't bother us to have some markings on the walls, because all the important things (like bed and toilet, etc) were good. The shower in the toilet didn't have shower curtain, so almost the whole toilet got wet. But we solved that by showering in the evening so it would dry during the night (and they do provide a floor towel).

The location for the central station is brilliant. Loved that the family room we stayed in was on a floor to itself so didn’t get disturbed by other guests and felt less like we were disturbing them. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

We had an intermittent vibrating sound in the room and, despite investigating and turning everything off - air con, lights, taking the card out etc., couldn’t get this to stop. It went on all night and did disturb our sleep.
