tv didnt work , requested assistance at front desk they took note and nothing happened

The hotel is easy to find in a new city. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and were able to get us an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our room was situated over the railway tracks which was quieter than expected but so unique. We booked a canal view, but getting the corner room on floor 8 we also go a view of the train station and across the city. Free baggage storage after checking out was another bonus for the hotel. If we visit Amsterdam again we will book again, thank you team Ibis Central

A little noisy from the trains from early morning, but that's to be expected with the location beside. Cars/ taxis can not drive up the street of the hotel. Therefore, you can not be dropped outside, a couple of minutes walk away.

The location, the cleanliness, the view. I always use train as transportation. Therefore, the location that is just besides the central station becomes the best choice for me. The view is also important for my holiday. The last stay, as the previous one, I got also a room with a very beautiful view, facing exactly the area around the front of central station. The station, the city, the canal and the hustle and bustle of the city.

Not every time I booked a room, there is coffee tea, or mineral water. The last booking, I got it. The previous booking, none was available. No consistency.

I booked thru Booking.com. I get the room that I expect according to the picture in the app. The room with the view of the river and train station. The view from the hotel window is very important for me when having my holiday. I will come back again to the hotel for 2 nites, on May 21, before flying back to my country on May 23. I do hope I can get again the same room I had yesterday. Room no.660😊. Very nice view. Thanks to Booking.com with the clear description of the room. So, as customer, I can book according to my preference.

The hotel system to deliver the room. Check in early in the morning doesn’t guarantee that the customer can get the room according to the booking condition. However, I usually can get the room I booked when I come early. Only that I can’t yet enter the room, since the room is not yet ready. So, I hope this matter can be a consideration for better service to the customer.

Wonderful Stay at ibis Nice Hotel! I had a fantastic experience staying at the ibis Nice Hotel in Amsterdam. The location is excellent, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff was very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. However, I was hoping to get a riverside room, but it was not mentioned during booking. It would be great if future bookings could specify room views or if the hotel could accommodate such requests. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great service and prime location. I look forward to staying here again!

My first visit to Amsterdam was made even more memorable by my stay at the Ibis Amsterdam Centre. Without a doubt, it’s the best hotel I’ve ever experienced. The level of personalized care and attention from the staff is truly beyond words. I encountered a minor issue during my stay, and the way the team responded made me feel genuinely cared for—just like family. Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly professional, and I’d like to give special recognition to Naima and Inra, whose kindness and support I will never forget. This hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Location can't be beat. Came into Amsterdam for the night before taking a transatlantic flight the following day, and the location made it so easy to get off our train, check in, and then easily check out and head to Schiphol the following morning, all while being downtown to enjoy an evening in the city. Staff was pleasant and check-in/check-out was easy. Rooms were small, but clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a quick stay.

3 of us were in the triple room and it's a tight space. Got the job done for the night, but wouldn't want to be so cramped for more than one day. (But to be fair, I knew when booking it would be a cramped space for all three of us, so it wasn't that big of a deal, just be mindful of it).

We were impressed that the customer reception has re emerged, and the young lady was very good, friendly, helpful and gave quite a bit of information about the hotel, where to find everything, and if we needed any further help or advise then all we need to do is ask. Perfect

One of the lifts wasn’t working for three of our days, and our room was only cleaned thoroughly once and thus was the night before we left. I know that smoking is a problem, but to stand right outside the main entrance door allowed the smoke inside the hotel, maybe a shelter away from the front entrance would be an answer.

The location was a very short distance to the train station. Honestly exit the station and turn right and it’s right there. Very convenient. We purchased breakfast and it was better than average. Laundry wasn’t available unless you did per item through hotel which would have been very expensive. No electric kettle available and Lobby charged for hot water. Walkable to all museums and canal rides are right across the road but just watch for bikes! It seemed like a safe location Rooms were small and no proper chair to sit down nor table. They had a little stool but to watch TV or read you had to use the bed so it was difficult to spend any duration in your room. Dinner options were good and worth the money.

Room small and no chair or seat available No kettle Access to upper floors(above four) required two different elevators. Early Luggage drop off for hotel was on fourth floor and a general swipe key for room for access. Anyone with that general key could access your bags. There was a pay access in main lobby but that is available to anyone just not hotel guests.
