tv didnt work , requested assistance at front desk they took note and nothing happened

The location for us was perfect. We had an early trip one morning and the local tour meet up point is in the station which is right next door so it was perfect. To be right next to the Eurostar at the start and finish of our trip made it very easy for us. You are greeted by many friendly staff members in the foyer who are always ready to help in any way which was lovely. The bar/breakfast area and foyer is modern with cosy comfortable seating and welcoming which I love in a hotel. The breakfast was great and we loved it one morning but we only had it one morning as it is quite expensive and there are many fun cafes close by either in the station or up in the streets of Amsterdam. We had a room with a view over the river at the back of the hotel which we loved. It was cosy, comfortable and clean.

A couple of the breakfast staff members were a bit rude.

The hotel is easy to find in a new city. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and were able to get us an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our room was situated over the railway tracks which was quieter than expected but so unique. We booked a canal view, but getting the corner room on floor 8 we also go a view of the train station and across the city. Free baggage storage after checking out was another bonus for the hotel. If we visit Amsterdam again we will book again, thank you team Ibis Central

Nothing, the staff make the stay relaxing

This was one of the best hotel staffs ever, very friendly, attentive and always provided adequate answers to any questions without giving a feeling of annoyance. Naema, Veronica, Jean, Ime, Christian, Sophie (very mature 17 yr old). Sorry if I missed some names. These folks are some of the most professional hotel staff we have encountered in 24 years visiting Europe. Please extent our gratitude to your staff for making our 3 days in Amsterdam enjoyable. Naema's friendliness convinced us to have breakfast at Ibis. Excellent location: short walk to canal area, transportation and our departing river cruise ship location.

Room: Ibis Amsterdam Centre has the smallest hotel room we have experienced in many our years of European travel. Felt very cramped, with no storage area for luggage or clothing. Our disappointment was diminished due to the exceptional professionalness of your staff. Veronica made us feel very welcomed. Thank you, The Barton's, Wilmington Delaware, USA

The hotel is just steps from the central train station and the associated shopping and food shops. Also, the local tram stops are right there. A number of canal boat tours also depart from the docks just across the bridge from the hotel. Dining and shopping is within a reasonable walking distance.

The bar and "restaurant" leave something to be desired. It seemed that they only had two employees. on duty If you want to eat or drink you have to order at the bar. We got a menu and looked at it, but didn't stay to see how ordering turned out. We felt we were better off grabbing snacks from their fairly limited selection in the snack section.

The hotel is just a stone's throw away from Amterdam Centraal Station, which makes it perfect for those intending to explore the city without complications on train schedules. Despite the fact that the hotel is located above the rails of the train station, the noise does not disturb the stay. A great point to consider is that there are vending machines operating 24/7 in the lobby, which becomes handy when the restaurants and convenience stores are closed.

There is an iron table deployed in the corridor of every floor, so you have to be lucky in order to find it available. I would suggest to include a small iron table in the rooms.

A little noisy from the trains from early morning, but that's to be expected with the location beside. Cars/ taxis can not drive up the street of the hotel. Therefore, you can not be dropped outside, a couple of minutes walk away.

The location, the cleanliness, the view. I always use train as transportation. Therefore, the location that is just besides the central station becomes the best choice for me. The view is also important for my holiday. The last stay, as the previous one, I got also a room with a very beautiful view, facing exactly the area around the front of central station. The station, the city, the canal and the hustle and bustle of the city.

Not every time I booked a room, there is coffee tea, or mineral water. The last booking, I got it. The previous booking, none was available. No consistency.

I booked thru Booking.com. I get the room that I expect according to the picture in the app. The room with the view of the river and train station. The view from the hotel window is very important for me when having my holiday. I will come back again to the hotel for 2 nites, on May 21, before flying back to my country on May 23. I do hope I can get again the same room I had yesterday. Room no.660😊. Very nice view. Thanks to Booking.com with the clear description of the room. So, as customer, I can book according to my preference.

The hotel system to deliver the room. Check in early in the morning doesn’t guarantee that the customer can get the room according to the booking condition. However, I usually can get the room I booked when I come early. Only that I can’t yet enter the room, since the room is not yet ready. So, I hope this matter can be a consideration for better service to the customer.

Wonderful Stay at ibis Nice Hotel! I had a fantastic experience staying at the ibis Nice Hotel in Amsterdam. The location is excellent, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff was very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. However, I was hoping to get a riverside room, but it was not mentioned during booking. It would be great if future bookings could specify room views or if the hotel could accommodate such requests. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great service and prime location. I look forward to staying here again!
