The location was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bottom sheet on our bed kept lifting up, could benefit from fitted sheets. The room was a bit cramped but overall good.

The location is accessible to everywhere. It is close to central station, dam square, canal cruise is just few steps away and restaurants are just downstairs. They change our towels and beddings everyday and kept our room clean.

I just did’nt like the policy about bringing food in the room, I wasn’t feeling well when we arrived in the hotel and was planning to buy food from outside and eat it in the room so I can rest after but because of the policy I need to force myself to go out so I can take something despite feeling sick as I walk.

It was located in the city centre, the room had a great view. Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels. I will be returning to this hotel

Charming Stay in the Heart of Amsterdam I recently stayed at this lovely hotel in Amsterdam and had a fantastic experience. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to a wide variety of restaurants, iconic sights, and the central train station. Whether you’re interested in museums, canal tours, or just strolling through the charming streets, everything is within easy reach. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. My room was spotlessly clean, and I especially appreciated the modern bathroom with sleek fixtures and a great shower—perfect after a day of exploring. One thing to note: the hotel does not have an elevator. There are stairs and several steps throughout the property, which might be a consideration if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. However, the building’s traditional Dutch charm more than makes up for it. Overall, a wonderful choice for anyone looking to enjoy Amsterdam with comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality.

Great location. Recommend ear plugs though, as it’s really in the city centre, so obviously a bit loud. Our room was small, but well-equipped and totally sufficient for a long weekend, where you spend most of your time out anyway. We stored our bags at the reception after check-out. There are narrow steps leading to the rooms - better keep that in mind if you have heavy suitcases.

I visited many capitals in Europe and this hotel have the best staff and service I got it . I came there early and I asked them to keep my bag and they was very helpful, I did not ask for early check-in because I know it's 3pm and it was morning early, so I left my bag and went to explore amesterdam. I back later around 2pm , the receptionist guy ( i think he is from Indonesia or maybe Malaysia) immediately gave me the key and explained everything he was very helpful, the room was very clean and tidy and location of this hotel is perfect I'll rate it 10/10 . Professional staff and helpful and very clean rooms Happy to book this hotel

Consistently the cheapest option for a solo traveler who wants their own room. Excellent location, easily come and go without any hassle like some others hotels. Nice bathrooms, hot water, nice staff. Highly recommended!

I wouldn't recommend the double room option, the single is far superior in all ways except the bed. With a single room, I had a huge window with a view of the main street outside, a desk, a wardrobe with a very narrow bed. The double room I got was far in the back with a tiny misted window awkwardly placed behind the bedroom door which only partially opened in a direction away from you facing a wall, with no view at all. No desk, no wardrobe.

Location is very good, near Amsterdam Center Station and Uber pick up point (in the Red Light District, just a few steps to the road nearby). Room was what we expected for the price and the staff was so helpful to arrange for us a room in the ground floor as we wished. There is an automatic coffee and tea machine to get free coffee and tea near the reception. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

There are no floor towels in the toilet and bathroom. The bathroom door is not tight so water can easily flow to the floor in the outside area where the toilet and sink are. At first, I thought that the hotel did not provide this item for the toilet and bathroom so I only gave feedback to the staff when we checked out. They said that they had floor towels in the toilet and bathroom but maybe the housekeeping staff forgot to add this item in our room so they will learn from their experience and improve this. So if you find that there is no floor towel in the bathroom, you should ask the staff to add it for you.

The location, the staff, the room are all amazing. Takes 3 mins to check in and from that on you can do whatever you want & it‘s a perfect location for me, right in the city centree. Try to book late, price drops a lot

The cleaning can get annoying, really early. Very loud & she actually entered my room unannounced & locked to find me laying in bed. Even told me I should leave soon so she can clean, while I was still booked there, but I don‘t think she means any harm but it was the only bad thing about my stay

I had a small single room - it was very clean, with a nice bathroom and good wifi. The desk staff were friendly. The air conditioning was good

To be honest, the things I disliked were mainly what I expected when I made the decision to go for a cheaper option when booking - the narrow stairs up to my third floor room, and the bed was quite narrow, a proper single rather than a wide single that you usually get in hotels (with larger rooms). But for that price and location, it was reasonable. (In fairness regarding the stairs, I was offered a room on the first floor after the first night, but I turned down the offer as new room would have been overlooking the Damrak, and I was afraid that it might be noisier than my rear-facing room)
