The price was fantastic for the location which was central to everything. Very easy walk to the central train station on arrival and leaving and the tram is right outside to travel a bit further to other areas like museums, Heineken experience etc. 15 minute walk to Anne Frank's house. Shops within 5 minutes. The central square also 5 minutes away. The boats are 10 minute walk away. The hotel itself is quirky, clean and I would definitely stay again if I returned to Amsterdam. There are good shower facilities and a good hair dryer. Towels changed and beds made during the stay. A facility to keep luggage if you arrive early or are departing after checkout. There is a lift to the different floors. The hotel seems like its in a really busy place between late night food shops but you cannot hear any noise so you get a good nights sleep. There is an area downstairs near reception with a coffee machine and tables to sit at in the morning and also fridges if you need. Staff were very helpful and friendly and there is always someone in reception.

The hotel was located on the main street which made it so easy to walk around the city. The room was clean and very comfortable.

I have to say the staff is very helpful. Especially because ai sprained my right foot in Berlin so thats the only reason took an uber taxi to the hotel and I still have to hobble a little bit to get to it but thats why if youre visiting just take the train to and the airport its very convenient and close. Anyways yes the staff is very helpful and were able to give me a little ice. The location is also very good which is basically what youre paying for. Amsterdam isnt cheap but its fun!

Space is very limited and becomes almost claustrophobic in the hotel especially when its crowded. The tv's have the casting capabilities but the internet connection wouldnt work to cast. I really hope this would be changed. The wifi was kinda slow as welll but that may be because its soo crowded in the summer.

Amazing location, literally right in the middle of everything. Staff were very casual but nice, loved the little chats we had. Very secure bag storage if too early for check in or want to store on check out day. Very comfy and big bed with big pillows. Cool third space they've created to sit outside of your room too.

A little noisy just because we were right next to the elevator but thats to be expected. Not many power outlets in the room and not near the bed at all. Bathroom was a wet room type so a bit hard to shower and keep clothes dry at the same time as it would completely saturate the bathroom

The hotel was absolutely perfect, so comfortable and welcoming. The staff were out of this world brilliant, always on hand, so very friendly and just absolutely lovely. The lady who checked us in was so lovely and friendly, the young man who worked the evenings was so so friendly and gave us ideas of where to visit, things to do and asked us each evening how our day was and where did we go, the staff seemed genuinely interested in talking with us which is fabulous. It was like staying with family, we hated leaving. We cannot fault a single second of our trip in Amsterdam and I will definitely be returning and staying at the exchange hotel. My husband and I took this trip as a break away and we were both amazed at how lovely and welcoming the hotel staff were, we loved the room and the bed was THE most comfortable bed we had ever slept in!

The staff were understanding and extremely helpful. The location was excellent for sight seeing; close to central rail station, tram stops and large attractions such as the Royal Palace, and Madam Tussaud's. The Hotel would keep luggage in a large safe store room if needed. The second room had enough space and fresh towels were provided and bed was made daily.

We had to move rooms due to maintenance (agreed in advance of the stay) and the hotel's layout was tricky to navigate. The steps on some of the stairs were uncomfortable to use because they were steep and short. The TV didn't connect to the Internet and the options in English were limited. The first room was too dark.

The plaace can't be better. Everything was beautiful and clean. Our room was spacious, with a huge bed and a large balcony. The robes and towels were provided, and the room was smoke-free. There’s a waiting area with coffee and tea where you can relax before check-in. Despite being in the center of Amsterdam, it was very quiet. We’ll definitely stay there again.

The lamp didn’t work well, or maybe it was just part of the room’s design. I had asked for a bigger lamp for the night, but they forgot to change it. So after sunset, you could barely see anything. One more point; they didn’t mention that the 6th floor doesn’t have an elevator—only relatively narrow stairs. It was fine for us, but it could be a problem for people with special needs

I've stayed in this hotel twice now, the first time I remember the room being quite quirky and cool, this time, spending alot more money for a so called better room, was left somewhat disappointed. The shower facility was a walking wet room with sink and shower nestled in a tight area which was a bit too cramped for me. The bed was very soft and I couldnt sit up straight on it which was annoying, but at least it was comfortable when laying on it. The room itself was without any other specific features such as a fridge or coffee machine, which i knew ahead of time, but would have been nice, especially at that price. Overall its a cosy room, nice balcony but a little bit cramped for me. The location is obviously amazing and easy to get about Amsterdam from. I will consider coming back but definitely would prefer a different room.
