*Location was amazing. Close to the train station and many sightseeing locations. *We had a rooftop room. It had a balcony, and a nice view. *The water pressure in the shower was surprisingly and exceptionally good. *It is really nice and convenient that there is a coffee machine by the reception where you can get coffee, tea and hot chocolate for free. *We were also able to leave our luggages after the check-out.

*It would have been nice to have a full length mirror inside the room, outside the bathroom, to use while getting ready. The one in the bathroom was placed on the tilted wall of the roof, so you needed to look up all the time to see yourself with a weird angle while getting ready, causing a bit of neck pain too, though not too bad. *There are no common bathrooms to use after the check-out and no common area with sofas. *The stairs are very narrow and steep, but this is a general issue in Amsterdam, not the hotel's fault, so if you have mobility issues, make sure to request a room in lower floors.

The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city. The room was small but cozy and everything was clean. Another lovely touch is a coffee machine at reception, where you can take a cup of coffee or tea at any time. The only minor inconvenience is the narrow stairs, which might be challenging for people with big suitcases. I was traveling with backpack, so I didn’t experience any issues. This detail is also clearly mentioned here, so it wasn’t a surprise. The staff is exceptional, special thanks to Zee, who truly cares about the guests and ensures their stay is enjoyable. Highly recommend and will definitely come back 🫶🏼

the hotel is located really close to the central station and its really helpful to travel at that area, especially when there is a lot to do in that area or even to reach different areas by foot (5 minutes or so). the beds are comfortable, the shower has really hot water and comes with soap and shampoo

if you are having trouble with steep stairs this place is not for you but it is very rewarding if it is not a problem for you the only thing that I felt lacking is a mini fridge at the room. to whoever is smoking be sure to check if there is a permitted place to smoke because it's very uncomfortable to exit and enter the hotel just for a smoke (the hotel offers more rooms, mine didn't have a terrace) I extended the room for one more day a few days before arriving and realized it is not needed two hours later the place did not accept change my booking and i was charged for another day without staying there, this was extremely disappointing

The location is amazing and is really a short walk from the main train station. Checking in was super simple and the staff was friendly. Room was very nice, bathroom clean and spacious (caution as the bathroom is half a step up from the floor...). And again, the location is amazing, no matter if for the closeness of Centraal or for it's central location amidst restaurants, shops and coffeeshops

The only drawback are the stairs...they are narrow and steep...when traveling with luggage, prepare for a steep ascend... But it is absolutely doable and I managed a large suitcase (2-weeks worth of clothes) and a 25L backpack with mainly photographic equipment) up to the top floor, the 4th l

Location is bang on. You are on Damrak which is one of the busiest streets so it can be noisy until late. Brilliant place to stay for groups of friends! Highly recommend 👍

Only downside was the noise from the busy street so it might be worth packing ear plugs. Apart from that ideal place to stay! Clean tidy and friendly helpful staff.

Location is amazing, everything is nearby, in the heart of the city centre, metro and train station is 10 minute walk away. Room was enough for 3 days, towels and stuff is there, after 1 night they bringed us new towels. Free coffee downstairs, which is good because in city centre coffee costs more than 3€. Eqsy to remember location of the place as its next to the frites shop with bright yellow logo and easy to remember by seeing the huge casino sign nearby.

A lot and, let me repeat - a lot of stairs if you get a room om the upper floors. So if you intend to visit Amsterdam’s coffee shops, prepare for that, its just a minor thing. Other thing is that after showering our WC got very wet

It's basically a room with no other facilities except a coffee maker at reception. Accessing the room requires ascending a steep staircase to reception, continuing up one floor more, walking across, and then down a floor. The only way to vacate the building was by the way one enters. In the event of a fire, I can't imagine how one could possibly leave the building safely.

The room was incredibly clean with private bathroom. Wasn't a big room but for the price I couldn't complain. It was exactly what we needed as it's a few minutes walk from the train station in Amsterdam central. Staff were incredibly kind and very helpful

The only complaints I have would be to watch for the stairs ( as is the case with all of Amsterdam, not specifically this place) and the pillows were incredibly firm, my neck was at a 45° angle trying to use it, ended up just sleeping without it.

I liked the size of the rooms — they were clean and nicely updated. The staff were helpful and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Overall, it’s a nice place for a short stay. However, the location might be a downside for some. The street noise can be quite noticeable, so light sleepers might find it a bit annoying.

Closeness to the centre of town and a short walk from the railway station. Convenient tram stops outside the hotel as well also a good choice of eating venues.

The stairs, anyone who has visited Amsterdam before will know what I mean but narrow and twisty describes the stairs up to the rooms you can just about carry one case with you. Having a communal coffee point was a minus I always like to wake up with a coffee.
