The location was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bottom sheet on our bed kept lifting up, could benefit from fitted sheets. The room was a bit cramped but overall good.

The location is accessible to everywhere. It is close to central station, dam square, canal cruise is just few steps away and restaurants are just downstairs. They change our towels and beddings everyday and kept our room clean.

I just did’nt like the policy about bringing food in the room, I wasn’t feeling well when we arrived in the hotel and was planning to buy food from outside and eat it in the room so I can rest after but because of the policy I need to force myself to go out so I can take something despite feeling sick as I walk.

Excellent location. A 5 to 7 minute walk from the central station. So we took the train right from the airport, got down at Central Station and did a short walk. The staff at the front desk were absolutely fabulous! very helpful, even printing out directions for us and making photocopies of a couple of things that we needed . There was a machine where you could make various coffees, tea, and hot water all for free in the lobby.

The steep stairs!! Make sure you don’t have heavy luggage! But we were very grateful that the front desk was able to give us a room on the first floor. The rooms were very tiny! It felt like we were back in college, and so there was a wonderful sense of remembering those college days. I’m not sure if I did not like it. It was just not the spaciousness that we are used to. The shower was very tiny as well. But it had a double showerhead with great pressure so that was lovely.

It was located in the city centre, the room had a great view. Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels. I will be returning to this hotel

The location was absolutely perfect & the blonde lady at reception was very helpful & friendly and there was a vending machine at reception. The shower was great & the air con. We had a late flight home so it was great that we could leave our bags at reception & walk about for the day bag free.

The room was small but it was fine for 2 nights. There wouldn't be room to maneuver if you had big suitcases. The stairs are steep & narrow., The lighting in the bathroom which had the only mirror in the room was terrible, you could see nothing. No full length mirror in the room.

Charming Stay in the Heart of Amsterdam I recently stayed at this lovely hotel in Amsterdam and had a fantastic experience. One thing to note: the hotel does not have an elevator. There are stairs and several steps throughout the property, which might be a consideration if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. However, the building’s traditional Dutch charm more than makes up for it. Overall, a wonderful choice for anyone looking to enjoy Amsterdam with comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality.

Hotel Manofa has wonderful, friendly staff and it's in a great location. The room was really clean on arrival and the cleaners tidied up and replaced towels the next morning. There is free coffee and tea from reception and also a handy vending machine with drinks and snacks. I have stayed here before and had the same experience so I was concerned when I read the poor reviews. The beds and sheets were clean and comfortable and the stairs are the same in every hotel in Amsterdam. Great value for money and a lovely, clean, no frills hotel.

Great location. Recommend ear plugs though, as it’s really in the city centre, so obviously a bit loud. Our room was small, but well-equipped and totally sufficient for a long weekend, where you spend most of your time out anyway. We stored our bags at the reception after check-out. There are narrow steps leading to the rooms - better keep that in mind if you have heavy suitcases.

I visited many capitals in Europe and this hotel have the best staff and service I got it . I came there early and I asked them to keep my bag and they was very helpful, I did not ask for early check-in because I know it's 3pm and it was morning early, so I left my bag and went to explore amesterdam. I back later around 2pm , the receptionist guy ( i think he is from Indonesia or maybe Malaysia) immediately gave me the key and explained everything he was very helpful, the room was very clean and tidy and location of this hotel is perfect I'll rate it 10/10 . Professional staff and helpful and very clean rooms Happy to book this hotel

Location is very good, near Amsterdam Center Station and Uber pick up point (in the Red Light District, just a few steps to the road nearby). Room was what we expected for the price and the staff was so helpful to arrange for us a room in the ground floor as we wished. There is an automatic coffee and tea machine to get free coffee and tea near the reception. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

There are no floor towels in the toilet and bathroom. The bathroom door is not tight so water can easily flow to the floor in the outside area where the toilet and sink are. At first, I thought that the hotel did not provide this item for the toilet and bathroom so I only gave feedback to the staff when we checked out. They said that they had floor towels in the toilet and bathroom but maybe the housekeeping staff forgot to add this item in our room so they will learn from their experience and improve this. So if you find that there is no floor towel in the bathroom, you should ask the staff to add it for you.
