Very acommodating place, everyone was extremely kind. The bed is very comfortable and the views are amazing. Very easy to reach with public transportation, in a quiet area, close to a supermarket and (public) parking connected to the hotel entrance.

Not having a boiler in the room or a microwave on the corridor is quite a big minus when travelling with a baby. I had to go downstairs to the coffee machine and pay 3€ every time my son needed a bottle.

No compartmentry tea or coffee in the room. For a 4 star advertised on here I was surprised it didn't.

The style and location were perfect for me

There was no coffee corner in the room which led me to ask for a kettle from the front desk and to purchase water. I think these are essential in the room and should be included in the price.

Generally the hotel is good value for money and not close to town so you have a slice of staying away from The main city.

There was no telephone in the room to call reception é.g. To ask for an iron. No information on how to get Wi-Fi given everything was in dutch (figured it out eventually) and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. A kettle and a few bags of tea, sugar and milk would have sufficed.

The view of the room to the canal! I could see many boats. The room was at 7 floor so clear sky was also visible. The building was pretty new and the room was clean and fresh.

The location of the hotel was no best and had to take bus to everywhere! Also in front of my room there was an elevator that I got almost stuck in it (Room 725) I ended up in the wrong floor and I couldn't get to any other floors as my card was not accepted to operate the elevator. I had to basically take staff root via backyard of the hotel to get out of the building. No signs of staff only was put on the elevator!

The breakfast wasn’t bad. However it was the same every morning. No pancakes, no waffles. Good selection of bread. I love the view from the breakfast place. The room was very spacious for the 3 of us. The bathroom was very big. The area felt safe to walk no doubt.

The room was very dark by the bed area. Could do with more lights there. If you dropped something there at night you will have to look for it the next day. My bathroom had an awful sewer smell from the time I got there. I reported it but nothing wasn’t done. It was so hard for me to brush my teeth. Only a supermarket about 8 minutes walk in the area. Other than that nothing to do in the area. The closest bus stop is about 8-10mins walk ( Veelaan) . It’s about 5/6 stops to the city. We got there about 2pm and had to wait for our room until 3pm. It was expensive but would look for a place closer next time.

A 1.5 litre bottle of water costs €8.50 in the shop in the lobby. They take full advantage of there not being any shops open late at night so you have to pay those prices. Same bottle of water was 49c in a local shop. Absolutely disgusting from management.

The location was lovely and quiet compared to the city center which was a really nice contrast after spending the day in the city. Our taxi driver told us on the way there that we had picked a good spot as no-one can sleep in the city! The room was immaculate and decorated in a really cool, modern style and couldn't fault room service either. Hotel staff were friendly, easy-going and helpful. Only thing was the hotel was a good 40-50 min walk from the center, which we braved everyday but this didn't turn out to be an issue. We saw loads of sites and attractions we wouldn't have seen if we had been any closer and got to experience more of Amsterdam - the quiet parts outside of the city are really beautiful. The whole experience was very straight forward and a breeze would definitely come back again. Oh and can't forget the stunning view of the harbour from our room, the harbour is stunning!!!

There was no kettle in our room and no phone to call reception if we needed anything. Not the biggest issues in the world but is always nice to have just in case! We didn't have breakfast included - but it was 18 euro per person if we did want to which we both thought was a bit extortionate so we didn't end up having. Also a large bottle of water from reception was 8.50 euro?! Which we also thought was a bit steep. No major issues though - we could totally look past these bits and didn't affect our stay :)

Modern, clean, the bad has been super comfortable

The fact all of the neighbours opposite to two windows I had could freely see what I do in the room. Total lack of privacy, unless I used the curtains, made a room totally dark. Dislike this one a lot

Rooms were nice but minimal on shower amenities such as shampoo, etc.

Location was not convenient for taxis. Had to get an Uber. Not being familiar with Amsterdam, I should have gotten something closer to the city center. Not walking distance from anything.
