This was a really beautiful and unique stay in an old church. A lot of thought has gone into using the space and original build. We were very comfortable. Location was close to shopping- AH, Etos, Kruidvat etc.- less than 10 minutes walking. Great place to stay if visiting Katwijk and Leiden and easy to navigate to from the freeway with ample parking on site. We did not have breakfast but the reviews seemed nice. Owner is very attentive. Overall we would stay again and recommend (though I should remember ear plugs next time)

Our room was directly connected to the main stairway and I was woken up multiple times by people coming and going throughout the night and morning. I'm a light sleeper, so do take this into account if you've the same.

I like the style and design. The hotel is very unusually designed. And places like this are memorable! Breakfast was good. Am loved being able to have breakfast right in the room. Fresh bread, eggs, and the rest - brought right to the room in a nice box. We are 2 adults and a child. An extra bed has been put in for the kind. And also there's a sofa. There is plenty of space in the room.

The toilet is not a separate room and you have to be a very open person when travelling as a couple or family)

The building and room were simply beautiful - so individually lovely and interesting, being a transformed/renovated church. The room was a perfect space for us with our 7 year old son. We were met by our host Reina, who was super friendly but also left us to rest after a long cycle journey. She guided us to their nearby restaurant for a great evening meal. Most impressive of all was the splendid breakfast provided the next morning, delicious freshly baked bread, croissants, eggs, yoghurts and treats.

There was nothing to complain about - great room, location (for us as we were en route to Haarlem) and space. We liked everything. It rained a lot while we were there so couldn't comment on the outside space.

great to have the breakfast option. nice selection and fresh. the overall coziness of the room was great. nice and quiet as well. nice location and access to the coast for a nice beach walk. close to the flower fields, which was great!

missing a hook to hang up your towels. made suggestion to the host. I think she will put something up. the bed was a bit hard, but overall comfortable. slept well!

Fabulously quirky in a unique building. Lovely little courtyard for late afternoon drinks. Eclectic furniture selection which we loved and I would highly recommend breakfast as long as you have a table to it it at - it is delivered to your room and had warm rolls, pastries, eggs, cheeses, yoghurts and much much more.

Nothing at all

Ideal for parking my motorcycle by my bedroom door on the ground floor. Welcoming hosts who also run a restaurant within 3 minutes where I has a very tasty burger.

If I may say, it was a lot more money than I would normally pay being retired on tiny pension.

Value for money; super comfy bed, great shower, nice big(ish) TV set, very good breakfast, ample parking in front of the B&B.

Breakfast in the room may be convenient for the (B&B) owner, but a little cramped, sitting around a small table and on (atmospheric but not very comfortable) wooden church bench seating. Bed was too warm, due to use of what appeared to be non-breathing linen.

Petrakerk is a great place to stay, it is a very interesting conversion of a Church into very stylish & comfortable bedrooms. It is well placed for visiting Leiden and also the coast and is in a very quiet neighbourhood so ensuring a good nights sleep. We stayed at the beginning and end of a long bike tour, it was perfect for our needs. The owner is helpful & communicative & was kind enough for us to leave our car there for the duration of our trip.

A very quirky room so we'll done. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very quiet. We found it an ideal location for visiting kuekenhoff and den haag. We hired e bikes from a local shop and had a great day cycling. We had breakfast one morning and it was amazing.

Very individual de-consecrated church made into a house with rooms. The rooms were so nicely put together. It was very comfortable. The town was tiny, so not much to do there, but were were just cycling through so totally matched our needs. Supermarket in town too to top up for the next day. Really nice place. Very individual and fun.

The coffee at breakfast was the worst I had all week in NL! Relatively minor really!
