Amazing room, spacious, lovely bathroom with large tub which was nice to soak in after touring and walking around all day. Easy to find. Nicely decorated very clean.

We got there late and tired. Offered dinner reservations but no menus available. Found the service good but slow. I had ordered meat but was not offered how it was to be cooked ie well done, rare etc. Mine arrived blue, after waiting a long time did not want to wait longer so my husband ate it. It was very pricey and a little disappointed that I didn't send it back. No menu in our room to review or we would probably not have eaten there. Otherwise our accomodation was fantastic.

The Paris room had a nice wide bath which for my broad shoulders is rare & his and her basins is a nice touch, with a comfortable and cosy bedroom. The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming and the meal exceptional, with very good service. A very short walk to the end of the road leads to a small high street with a collection of cafes & restaurants with a super market in case you need provisions. The bus services near by are great for getting into Leiden and so less stressful than driving and parking which we did once to fing the only parking option was 28 euros for the day !

Bathroom toilet not very private to bedroom with loosley closing doors and a blind that only partially covers the glass with a perfect viewing angle for anyone sat up in bed,, so pick your moments. Also the small window above the bath has no blind which although looks out across a flat roof and trees in the distant park still feels a little open to view.

The whole villa is just insanely bautiful, the room was perfect and romantic. Everyone there was super friendly, they showed us everything and even offered a welcome drink. It was definitely a very nice experience and I would totally come back.

It was quite expensive, but I understand the location is really close to Amsterdam and to all the tullip fields.

Fantastic Continental breakfast- real variety, superb quality of food, lovely ambience, relaxed and unhurried.

No shower curtain, caused a mess, and no tray for soap in the shower (although there were lovely body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided)

We loved Villa Beukenhof! The gardens are stunning. We were in the Dubai room. Our friends had the Paris room. Both our beds were very comfortable. And the bathrooms were spacious and wonderful. I would definitely book again if traveling this area.

The Dubai room could use more light options.

Excellent restaurant (thé service could be a bit quicker, but at the same time the guests can take their time enjoying the food). Well equipped bathroom, stylish rooms. The city center is a nice 30 minutes walk. Spacious parking.

We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel - there were many lovely bakeries nearby. The restaurant and food was too formal for our kids.

We had a washing machine - but no clothes airer for drying the clothes? This was difficult to translate to the reception, also although there was a beautiful fitted kitchen - there were no plates and very little cutlery? It would have better to have these items stocked, Again i had to ask at reception for the basics. The furniture was stylish and the mini bar tempting but we would have preferred none of these and more attention to our needs as a family.

Liked the large, personal breakfast, excellent quality, and staff was very attentive. The dinner at the restaurant was also excellent, with large portions. Although the building is very old, the rooms are up to scratch

Overall the facilities look tired and need a serious dose of investment to make the place sparkle.

Villa Beukenhof is just a magical place. Wonderful gardens, beautiful room with a lovely deep bath. The food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again.
