Beautiful renovated villa in a quiet location, tucked down a lane, right beside the river. The room was huge, beautifully appointed, with a very comfortable bed. The shower room was also enormous, with lots of fluffy towels and every convenience. Breakfast was lovely and very well presented. The honesty fridge was very welcome as we needed a drink after a long and stressful day. The welcome when we arrived was wonderful and we were given lots of help to store our bikes securely, along with a recommendation for somewhere to find dinner. We also love the social enterprise principals of this place.

We very much appreciated our upgrade to the tower room - a spacious modern room with view of the river. Thankfully there was a lift available as the stairs were a little narrow and a challenge with luggage to carry. Comfortable beds. A large modern bathroom. A warm-hearted welcome from the staff - a truly motivated team. Peaceful location at the end of a residential area of the town. The location worked very well for our purpose. A super breakfast.

We liked everything. Hope to stay again on a future visit.

The room was lovely and the breakfast room was great. the staff were very welcoming and you could see that they took great pride in the place.

If I had had a car it would have been wonderful. But I was reliant on public transport and there was no restaurant within 2km. I think hotels need to be much clearer when they to not provide evening meals. I didnt have a hot meal the whole time that I was working away.

The breakfast was superb and gorgeous. The staff is very warm and helpful. The view from our room (206) was great. The room is very big as well as the bathroom.

On one side the hotel positioning is great if you are looking for silence and zenitude. The view on the canal is amazing. On the other side you need to get out with the car if you want to go to any restaurant in the surroundings.

Unusual atmosphere of an intimate place with a view of the setting sun. Very spacious rooms and bathroom. Furnished with attention to cleanliness and comfort of stay. Very friendly contact with staff about check-in and check-out.

The quality and spaciousness of room and bathroom, friendly and helpful welcoming staff member and delicious breakfast. Appreciated the welcome drink and truffles. We loved the canal area.

The couple next door were noisy.

A lovely peaceful hotel with brilliant views of the river. Breakfast was excellent. We loved the way the hotel supported the local community but still offered a great experience for guests. Rooms were big and airy.

Lovely building in nice setting by the canal/river. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Very comfortable and well appointed room.

Slightly awkward to find as in the middle of housing estate with very narrow roads. Sat nav required ideally. Need to drive to get to range of evening restaurants as only breakfast supplied but this was very good.
