O M G! The "Garden"... Their Superior, Sweeping Landscaping!! was beyond Spectacular, especially for Landscapers Sue and Daughter Kathy! The Hosts were very gracious, friendly, accommodating...all of it! And the two Cats: FUN! Great stay. Thanks, Folks! 😊😊😊

New Zealanders apparently use Duvets for beds, as do the Europeans, for their only sheet/cover. We find these too heavy and warm. We usually have to remove the inner comforter to use only the Duvet-cover, which is not quite warm enough! So, a separate blanket to use instead would be great. But then, we'd need spare sheet! Sigh! "Ferriners" can be so picky! 😁

It was just slightly out of town so quieter, the gardens were beautifully kept & our room The king suite with an amazing bathroom overlooking the garden was wonderful. The bed so so comfy, I had the best nights sleep that I’ve had in ages, the bell bird song at 7am was amazing just loved hearing his song. Our hosts were really friendly & welcoming. Breakfast was good quality & plentiful. Really good value … Thank you Ken & Jenny

Nothing it was all perfect

We arrived in mid afternoon and were warmly greeted by our hosts. Our upstairs room was spacious and well appointed with a large comfy bed. The adjacent modern bathroom was large and featured lovely views across the fields. Breakfast was all that could be desired, as we chatted to our hosts and to another couple of guests.

Noting to comment

Where do we begin. The home is quiet, the master suite was spotless, modern, clean, and private. The host and hostess were gracious, friendly, accommodating and made us feel at home in Geraldine. We had only one night, but could have spent several more if we had the chance. The landscaping of the grounds made this place a paradise. The furry animals that roam the place added a nice homey touchy. Loved River and Misty! We would return to this hidden gem of a place.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Ken and Jennifer were the perfect hosts, making us feel welcome immediately. The house is set in beautiful grounds and the view from our window was spectacular. Only a minutes drive from the centre of town, but with a feel of the countryside, it was the perfect setting. The rooms were beautifully decorated with all facilities for a comfortable stay. After many nights touring and only motel stays this was a ' breath of fresh air'. We would definitely recommend this beautiful place to anyone touring NZ.

Nothing not to like!

The gardens are superb we wished the weather had been kinder and we could have spent more time wandering around enjoying the rhododendrons in full bloom. The location was close to town and easy to find.

Absolutely nothing! The accommodation, the breakfast and our hosts Ken and Jenny were amazing.

Lovely little getaway with Ken and Jenny, they've created a cosy little space with lovely gardens and a very comfortable room. We didn't get to spend much time on the property but the surroundings looked beautiful. And the home cooked breakfast was absolutely lovely!

The property is not really close to town, but if you're driving then that's no biggie.

Beautiful natural environment and welcoming friendly hosts. Our room was spotlessly clean with comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was yummy too! Geraldine is a great town- interesting and relaxed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful rural-feel location but still only a short drive into Geraldine.. We were in a downstairs room with private access. Ken and Jenny are the most genial hosts and made us feel completely at home. The bedroom was comfortable with everything we could need. Breakfast had lots of options and was delicious. All top notch!

The hosts were wonderful and very welcoming. They were happy to keep you company or leave you to your own space depending on what you were after. We had a wonderful chat about the great walks and the local area. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the gardens were absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.
