Such a beautiful location, perfect for a family stay and we especially loved the pool. Our highlight was the staff members, they were soo friendly and we loved chatting to one of them in the restaurant (can’t remember his name!) Everything was clean and comfortable and the rooms are super spacious.

The only downside is there are a LOT of bugs especially at night so we had to be careful opening our doors to not let them in, didn’t get bitten personally but some of the family members got a few mosquito bites. I suppose that’s expected coming out to a place like this, regardless would come back again!

Great location. North facing with lovely views of the ocean. Swimming pool with 'jacuzzi' ( separate hot area with bubbles not jets) with lovely view of the sea. 100m down the road is the winery with cafe and more great views, similar menu to restaurant. Great wine flight- 4 wines for 15 dollars, and seafood platter. You could really walk between the hotel and winery if you're drinking. We had supper at the restaurant, good food and views, wine from the winery. Our room was great, number 5, best views. All bedrooms lead onto a verandah so you might have people walking past your room. Water is yellow from high iron content, but they had mineral water to drink on the house. shower pressure was amazing, it was like having a massage. Mini bar had wines from the estate. Beach towels supplied. Nice toiletries. Good hairdryer. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

They undersell themselves. Pool not advertised, and it was lovely, and there weren't any signs to it. Fittings a bit old, i knew this from previous reviews. Only one coffee bag for two people in the room, a cafetiere but no plunger coffee.

We had a fantastic stay at Carrington Estate. The restaurant was a highlight, offering a delightful dining experience with a menu that showcases quality and creativity. The staff, particularly one enthusiastic and passionate waiter, truly made a difference. His dedication and energy were palpable, adding a personal touch to the evening. The room was spacious, quiet and perfect for a tranquil retreat. The entire setting provided an ideal hideaway, enhancing the overall experience.

One aspect that fell short was the wine tasting experience. It was self-guided, while $15 for 4 flights was reasonable, we were expecting a more structured, guided session. The estate was understaffed that night, with only one waiter managing dining service and wine tasting. Despite his best efforts, the lack of guidance in the tasting was noticeable. Hopefully, this is a temporary issue and not the norm.

Beautiful room with a view of the golf course around the veranda with lovely grounds. Room very spacious and beds comfortable. Late check in was well accommodated. Easy to find and parking. Pool was fabulous too - if you like it cold which we do!

Water was discoloured with iron but safe to drink. Breakfast was amazing but restaurant only opened late at 10am due to staff not knowing if we wanted it.

I had a great couple of days at the Carrington estate. The staff were friendly and helpful - and even sent me my Kindle back after I forgot it! The private beach was a bonus I didn't expect. I also visited the adjacent vineyard for wine tasting which was a nice experience with equally hospitable people! The restaurant had great views and great food!

The only downside to my room was that both the large windows look out onto the walkways and so I tended to keep the curtains closed when in. Next time I'll pick a sea view :).

The location and quality of the the Resort was excellent, not forgetting the lovely swimming pool, with the magnificent view of the ocean and coast line!

The evening dinner presented at the restaurant was not up to the standard of excellence one would have expected! However, situations can change depending on the chef operating at the time!

Overall, our stay was very good; the location of the place is spectacular, a very peaceful spot to relax

The facilities are not in the best condition, the pool is very dirty, and the tennis courts are poorly maintained. It seems they should take these issues into consideration, especially given the cost compared to the services they provide. Lastly, for a 5-star hotel, we were surprised that no one asked about our experience, a feedback about our stay.

The room was a good size, it was quiet which was appreciated & had pleasant views. The Restaurant was very good in the Hotel and in the Winery. The Staff were exceptionally helpful & pleasant

The bathrooms and towels/robes etc need updating/replacing The gym is very basic

The views are amazing a recharge for the soul. We had an awesome round of golf and some good meals.

There seemed to be a bit of a lack of management at Carrington. A shame really as this is an awesome special location. I would visit again most definitely there is real potential here, I hope someday the management steps up.

We had a view over the golf course to the water. The unit was perfect for our party. We were also happy with the restaurant onsite.

Very stingy with the coffee!!! Only one sachet of coffee for 4 people-- not good enough. what really was not good is that the woman at the check out knew that housekeeping had not left enough for a 3 bedroom unit.
