It was comfortable and extremely clean

No milk for cups of tea. Also did not like the sign that asked you to keep kitchen clean or something to that effect as a surcharge would ensue. When you pay $170 night I'm not there to clean up. It really annoyed me because I'm a clean person anyway and an adult and didn't appreciate it. I know it's not personal but it was irritating.

Flexibility as the gorge was closed of due to a slip and we checked in very late about 1130pm

Condensation on the windows in the morning and no floor mirror in the main bedroom. Be cool if there was a power point in bathroom for the ladies (hair straightening) some of the table chair bottoms were broken. Was surprised we had to pay for the spa $5 per person per swim Also no wardrobe for storage in rooms No coffee, only tea. Was also a distinct odour in the unit couldn't suss out what it was. Over all the host was lovely and we enjoyed our stay

Easy check in, great sized pool. Perfect for 4 of us (3 children). What we loved was Paknsave/Warehouse/McDonalds/Gull only a 2min walk. Central for our Cape Reinga trip. Quiet and only a min drive to town. Best KFC ever! Good value for money with the 1 bedroom suite (4 beds). We'll be back 100%.

Too much chlorine in the pool. My kids eyes burnt and the smell was still so bad even after showers 🫣 You could hear when the next room was showering, loud pipe work but we weren't bothered too bad. Tables outside our room too close, cigarette smoke from others kept coming into our room from both sides. Perhaps dedicate a smokers area by the swingset? Need aircon, fans don't do jack!

Friendly Service and Location, Close to all amenities.

During Summer the pool should be opened for longer and not shut at 8pm? When we were there it was so hot after 8pm Maybe install Air Cons if the the pool is shutting at 8pm. Especially during Summer time. I only mention this as we were a family of 4 in one of the 2brm apartments, but our body heat was making the apartment so hot and sticky. We had fans but it was just rotating our body heat and hot air all evening. Hard to fall asleep in the heat at night. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you KML.

Loved the convenience of the central location. So close to Paknsave, The Warehouse etc The pool area was great, nice and close to our rooms. The little playground area was cute! Staff were very friendly and approachable!

- Had to pay $4 per person for the spa, but the rule was 30 minute intervals to allow other guests to use the spa. - No aircon in our 2 bedroom unit - No kitchen storage for food - Mini fridge in 2 bedroom unit which sleeps 6, fridge isn't big enough for that many people

Could have been more duvet's available as the night was rather cool, had a look in the cupboard, nothing there, we were ok but definitely need extra made available.

the beds were comfortable the location was perfect across the road was the warehouse and right next to it was paknsave it was perfect plus the pool was very clean and the facilities were great ! will definitely book again for that price

that we had to pay extra for the spa pool but there was no sign or advertisement of the spa when i booked the accom

Great location for a Cape Reinga experience. The room was tidy and there was enough there to cook our own meals. The owner's dog was very friendly and came for a visit (potentially because we were cooking meat :) )

There could have been a few more plugs for charging and there was a crack in the shower, which were to be fixed after the holiday period.

Location was great with Pak n save, Gull and the Warehouse all close by so if we needed anything we could go. Loved that the towels were not white 10/10. Excellent place, great service - only one issue was that the fridge didn't work even after we flicked the switch but everything else fabulous!

The hotel was quite good, it met our expectations for a relatively budget priced hotel. Thanks to the items in the room (crockery & cutlery) we had no problem making our own breakfast. There was no air conditioning, although a large fan was provided to assist with cooling the room. I guess that was the price point for the hotel.

The room faced the afternoon sun, as a result when we got into the room it was very hot. It would have been beneficial if the staff had closed the block out curtains during the afternoon to limit the heat getting into the room. A large fan was provided which assisted with air circulation (as mentioned the room was not air conditioned), although the room didn't really cool down until well into the evening.
