The Loredo Motel is well located in Kaitaia giving easy access to the Far North, Cape Reinga, the ninety mile beach and other attractions. The staff are friendly, and if you’re looking for a reasonably priced stop-over in the area for a day or two, look no further. The Loredo Motel, also boasts a swimming pool, and the well kept complex is in the Spanish hacienda style.

The free WiFi was a little flaky, but hey, a good excuse for not answering emails etc. The choice of restaurants in downtown Kaitaia was disappointing, but there’s a good grocery store nearby.

The owners are managing this hotel and they want everyone to feel welcome. They worked hard to make the place neat and presentable. The pool is amazing, I had a few swims and enjoyed it heaps. There is a hot tub and I had a peep at it but did not use it as it was pretty warm outside. This will be great in winter - it's located just adjacent to the pool.

I really have no complaints.

Great stay for excellent price. The 2 bedroom was perfect. Rooms are very clean, with a microwave and fridge. The pool was an added bonus, our grandchildren loved it. The hosts went out of their way ensuring we had everything we needed. This is one of the better accommodations in this area. Highly recommended. We look forward to staying here again.

The motel is clean comfortable well equipped. The room is spacious and generous in size. The staff is very nice and friendly. They have a nice swimming pool and outdoor area for BBQ. The location is great close by there is a pak n save and McDonalds.

The swimming pool has lot of fallen leaves in it so that puts me off to go into the water. And little disappointing that the spa pool is closed during summer which is understandable however it would be relaxing if could soak in the spa in the evening before bed time.

Very comfortable place to stay in kaitaia. Myself and my partner enjoyed the 2 nights we spent at Loredo motel. We're looking forward to our next visit already. Nothing at all

If you’re a couple or a family travelling the rooms have plenty of space for all. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The pool and spa are lovely to just relax in at the end of the day and the surrounding area is pretty quiet so it made for a very relaxing evening was awesome.

If what you’re looking for is a more romantic setting the rooms can be a little much.

Kenny and Karen were great hosts nothing was too much trouble. They gave us information about local shops and restaurants. The Motel has a pool and hot tub (spa) which we used during our stay. The room that we stayed in was clean and tidy and well equipped with hob, microwave and fridge. We liked it so much that we booked an extra night.

Ample parking and the room was nice with everything we needed and good amount of space to store our belongings. Kenny the owner was very nice and honest.

The room we stayed in had spotty wifi that could only be accessed by the front door. However we had been told this upon check in and it was something that was being worked on.

A warm welcome from Kenny and Karen, who were very friendly and helpful. Unit was clean and bed comfortable. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice.

The rooms do need refurbishing, particularly the kitchen area and bathroom. And internet is very patchy. Owners are aware and hopefully will address what needs to be done.

The staff is super helpful and friendly! The rooms are big and have all the cooking utilities to ensure a comfortable stay - it remains a proper apartment rather than a room in a motel! Very spacious and comfy! The swimming pool is amazing for the hot days and my child really enjoyed the trampoline! the price is great!
