We got upgraded to a 1-bedroom unit from a studio, which worked so well for us since my husband and I wake up at different times. The unit was quiet, well set up, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were decent, which we appreciated. One morning, we walked to Woolworths for some breakfast supplies. It's a pleasant 800m walk. We stayed for 2 nights while visiting family and would definitely use Touchwood Motor Inn again in the future

Couch in the lounge was not that comfortable but not a deal breaker.

The staff were amazing, the room was amazing for our little family of 5, we all had space, kitchen had everything we needed if we wanted to cook, cleaning staff were great kept the place in order, location was perfect a quick 10min walk into the CBD and you had everything you needed from cafe's, bakeries, banks, movies, restaurants. A beautiful town. And location to beaches and waterfalls within 15min - 30mins radius.

That we had to leave

I didn't arrive until 7 pm, so the office was closed, but it was no time until I heard a cheery voice call out and direct me to my room for the night. The room was spotlessly clean, with a large, comfortable bed. It backed onto a lawn with fruit trees, which was lovely. It was easy to find and in a nice quiet location. I would definitely stay again if the need arose.

If I had one gripe, it's the use of room deoderiser, just because I am not a fan of the fragrance.

Beds were comfortable very good location not far to travel for supermarket or restraunts to get some dinner. Staff were very friendly and I would diffently stay there again and would recommend to anyone. Loved the wide range of channels that you could get as not many hotel these days have all the sky channells usually only some.

Parking was abit restrictive and the shower could use a good cleaning. Television was abit small but I guess it was ok.

I liked the scenery outside of the room and how peaceful and respectful the neighbourhood was . There was absolutely no problems at all considering the last place we had stayed at wasn’t up to our standards for hygiene & clean wise . I enjoyed my space away and it was nice and close to the gym / basketball courts that I needed to be at the next day before 11am 🥰

Nice room with everything we needed, and the aircon remote made it easy to adjust the temperature.

Everything was good apart from one little thing, the shower door leaked. Not a problem for us but we were aware it would be extra cleaning for the staff. One other thing we forgot to mention to the staff, the table light in the loungeroom flickered so either the bulb or lamp itself is faulty.

Location was convenient to the sports field where we were based for the week. We appreciated the room being serviced daily and new towels provided.

Would have loved a bath but was happy with the room. Possibly a TV in the bedroom as well. Wifi coverage in the room was poor.

We have stayed multiple times. It's in a great location, the staff are amazingly helpful, friendly and nothing is a problem with a smile. The rooms are clean, are of generous sizes, have air conditioning, sky that actually works, wifi, and stand alone showers not ones over a bath ( although we have also had a unit with a spa bath and seperate shower) Also own decent sized carpark included

I loved the feel of home it provided, beds were comfy, 2 toilets, soft carpet under foot was beautiful, our children asked if we could take the house home with us 😆 great cost we had 6 of us and still had space for one more in the hotel room, it's hard to find good cheap accomodations that sleep 6-7 people, this place definitely ticks that box.

I wished the separate toilet was downstairs to accompany the bed and living that is downstairs, And the neighbors I could hear talking through the wall, it wasn't loud but wish there was more sound proving between the units. But those were really a nit pick of complaints, I will definitely recommend them and if I go back to that area of Auckland I will stay there again that's for sure.

Very comfortable room, well serviced everyday, friendly reception, helpful, clean and accessible to my fellow travellers across the road. Big room and bathroom and well stocked kitchen.

A couple of insects in room but nothing major.
