The room was spacious and had a well-appointed kitchenette, though we didn't have much need for it. It was also very clean, the a/c was much appreciated, and the shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. On the down side, the bed was much too firm for my taste (but obviously this is a personal preference). The room overall is fairly basic but certainly serviceable.

We came to Thames to do some Gliding. So staying at the Rolleston Motel. Was a real bonus. So quite as we couldn't hear any traffic in the evenings. And it was just down the road from where we were Gliding at the Aero Club. Would highly recommend this motel. Staff were amazing.

It was nice, quite, clean had modern facilities and shampoos conditioner which alot of motels don't provide anymore. will stay again in future. Great that it's off the main street.

The only down fall was the leader to go into the pool is very unsteady and I slipped and hurt my knee. Apart from that this place is amazing.

This is being picky there was nothing wrong with room I loved it If I'm being picky it's just there was no art on walls so room looked bare but who cares really The shower was awesome

Second time we stayed here and this time we booked family room 9. Good size room for 4 people with kitchen, 2 TVs, outdoor patio area.

I didn't realize there was no aircon. There was only one fan in the main bedroom but it would've good to have another one for the kitchen/lounge area where the other 2 single beds are. At night it was hot and stuffy and we didn't want to keep opening the sliding door because it made loud squeaky noises. The spa is lovely, the pool is great too but it was hard to get out because it only had one step. It was a struggle to get out.

We just spent one night at the motel to escape cyclone Gabrielle so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or other facilities. But we appreciated the super friendly welcome by the staff and the clean and comfortable room. The location is great to explore Thames and the area. The kitchenette has everything needed to prepare breakfast or small meals. Beds were comfortable and felt fairly new.

The walls to the adjacent room seems to have been rather thin as you could here quite a bit of noise (kitchen sounds), but that wasn’t a big deal.

the spa and pool, the kitchen nd shower was gr8. Clean and comfortable.

no note to get onto wifi had to call someone toilet flush outdated nd noisy no air conditioning (but did have a fan) single bed mattress was uncomfortable.

Large, very clean, great kitchen. Nice bed, mostly quiet. Good location for exploring Thames town and beaches.Stayed two nights.

The extremely stained carpet detracts from the elegant room. Parking is very tight at #15.

The size of the room and that it had everything you need including shampoo and conditioner. Excellent for a budget motel The staff were helpful with questions about the town

They forgot to give us milk for coffee

I was able to live on my own in my room with no disturbances. The other people staying at Rolleston were nice and quite which made me enjoy my stay so much more. I booked this is a hurry and cancelled my booking with another motel prior to booking at Rolleston. I never actually saw a picture of my room prior to booking but I could tell this was a nice place to stay, and I was right!

There was nothing I didn't like. (Google maps was a bit funny when I travelled down, as it kept directing me to the Avalon.)
