+ Clean motel with lovely pine decor on the inside + We had the two bedroom room, and loved how there were 2 large full bathrooms, and even a seperate kitchenette. Great for 2 couples/ groups to stay fairly out of each other's way + Had all the facilities we needed, although they're getting a little old + Convenient location: walk across the road to town centre, or around to the waterways + A shed full of bikes to borrow was great for easy 10min cycling to the top of Pauanui. Would love to use the tennis equipment, pool, and BBQ next time! + Carole the manager was lovely!

- Only reason this isn't 10/10 is the wifi stopped working in the evening and never came back in the morning. Devices either that were connected in the afternoon dropped off, or couldn't connect at all

Everything about it was amazing and exceeded all expectations. I was surprised at how nice everything was from the unit we stayed in, to the grounds and well looked after everything was. The bed was super comfy and the staff were super friendly. Carol and Simon who are running it have put in a lot of time & effort into the place, and it really shows. I will be coming back!

The owners/managers were welcoming and friendly and responded to our request for help for quickly and efficiently. The unit was well appointed, clean and very tidy.

The fact that we had an issue with the TV reception. It is likely that was because of circumstances beyond anyone's control.

My son loved the spa pool! (as it was freezing to use the outdoor pool) We loved the kitchen facilities as it has got pretty much all the basics you'll need, BBQ facilities scattered all over the property, plus location is perfect! Just right accross the main town centre and 3 mins drive to the beach! Carole is just awesome too made us feel at home!

The rooms started to look tired, might need some upgrading like a new carpet, furnitures..but nothing too major.

Wonderful cabin style appartments in a nice little town. There is a pool, hot tub, tennis court and free bikes which we didn’t have time to use. Great location for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula. Beautiful beach for a swim in warmer weather. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Comfortable bed, great shower and well equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here

clean, comfortable & well equipped lodge, plenty of towels, extra for pool/beach. An on site guest laundry & guest freezer to use. Also there’s a pool, jacuzzi, tennis court , lots of equipment to borrow as well as bikes. Easy check in with Carol on reception, would definitely stay here again

Great place, has pretty much all you need for a get away, Pool, Spa, Tennis court and location was handy to everything just stone throw, staff were really helpful in advise and local information, would like to return with family sometime.
