This motel is located just steps from the beach, and a couple of blocks from the passenger ferry, as well as shops, cafes and restaurants. We used it as a base to explore the Coromandel Peninsula, and it was perfect. The room was simple, but had everything we needed, including a fridge, microwave and some dishes for simple breakfasts. There's a BBQ and drying lines for bathing suits outside too, and free parking for all rooms. We visited in the summer, and the fans in the room kept us cool at night. The area is very quiet, no concerns about loud guests either.

Location was great the beds were comfortable the bathroom was clean and had extra shelves to put your toiletries on the water pressure was very good The person at reception was friendly and quickly fixed up a slight misunderstanding that had occurred regarding the amount of beds we had booked for. We liked the system they used for dirty dishes to be replaced so you didn't have to try washing dishes in the bathroom sink.

The room was quite small and and with the amount of furniture it was a little cramped.

The location was great! Could walk to town and the Marina. Lots of restaurants nearby. The room had a toaster and microwave and had an outdoor kitchen. Very cosy and super comfortable beds. Friendly owners. Good Parking

Maybe it was the season - just after the new year. It was expensive compared to other places . It would have been great if a simple breakfast was served.

The man on reception was lovely, the room was very clean and fresh, great location. They gave us extra coffee and milk for the morning when we asked and the price was really reasonable.

The only negative to this motel was the beds. We were 3 friends staying in a studio with a queen bed and a single bed. All 3 of us found the beds super hard and woke up feeling it. Nothing a matress topper wouldn't fix.

2 Gals just took over the motel and we’re in the process of redoing some ofthe rooms. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great cafe and a convenience store right across the street even though ithe motel was in a suburban district. Short walk to a beautiful clean beach and the marina where most of the boat tours leave from.

Great location, walkable to the wharf, shops, beach and restaurants. A lovely sunny spot to sit and watch the world go by. Friendly and helpful staff.

Rooms are quite compact. A kitchen sink in the room to wash dishes would have been helpful. Also, extra chairs so a family of 4 could all sit at the table would have been great. Not a problem for a short stay (or if you're planning to eat out) but would be annoying for longer stays.

This was a delightful stay near the beach in Whitianga. The room was clean and had sweet little touches, like a dark facecloth for makeup and USB charging ports in the plug in. The bedding was super comfortable and we appreciated the dish service.

Room was very clean and tidy. I like there were plenty of fans provided. Staff very friendly and took pride in the accommodation. Close to the beach and town center.

Large bed in small room not much room to move around the bed but this was only a small issue and does not effect the overall stay too much.

Gentleman at the reception desk reverse parked my car for me! Good facilities, there was a fan, heater and and air purifier in the room. Very close proximity to both the beach and town.

I couldn’t reach the TV to unplug it and plug it back in so it would turn on. But that is more of a me problem than a fault of the motel.

This place was ideal for our stay—just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. The value for money was excellent. Nice shower, comfy beds... Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-located, budget-friendly spot!
