Quick drive to town but a bit far to walk. The airport is nearby but small planes only take off during the day which wasn't too disruptive as we were out for most of the days. Very quiet otherwise and you cannot hear any traffic which is lovely. Peaceful spot with birds singing in the trees outside. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was awesome and we had a bigger deck than some of the other rooms which was great.

Our toilet had a gurgle which made me laugh every time we flushed and the aircon faced over our bed so it was hard to find the right temperature on the hot nights.

Extremely clean, this is the cleanest place I’ve stayed. The host is super friendly and engaging. Lovely guy who couldn’t do enough for you! It has a huge grass area so if you had kids it would be perfect for them to play. Had a great deck area off room. It has a kitchen for guests to use but we didn’t have the need to use it.

Walls are thin so if neighbours are noisy, like we had, you’ll be woken early. The hallway/room had a slight musty smell.

Great host, clean and comfortable facilities, with everything you could need. Really well placed for exploring the Coromandel. Super comfy bed.

Shower head was very low, so made washing my hair difficult, bathroom door opened right onto you when sat on the loo (or standing, for the fella's), which was fine as a solo visitor but could be a little bit of a hazard for two and would benefit from a little sound proofing (could hear next door snoring lol) but this is me thinking super hard about little things, as overall it was just perfect for my short stay.

Loved the quiet peaceful surroundings. Lovely spot in the country with a big garden. Not too far from town. The studio room was small but quite comfortable. Very friendly host. We really enjoyed our stay.

The carpark is quite tight and a bit awkward to exit, however not too much of a problem. Would have been nice to have some mugs for tea/coffee in the room rather than the smaller cups, which were not big enough for us.

Fantastic stay of 3 nights in February 2024. Great position and a short drive into the Town Centre. Lovely grounds and super welcoming, friendly and helpful Manager (Choi). We had a two bed room with a lovely veranda overlooking the treed grounds. We utilised the common kitchen and found it to be great. Lovely big common lounge area for guests. Very quiet and peaceful. Ample parking and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

We did not dislike anything.

Self contained unit with options for basic meals at the community kitchenette . Good upkeep of the property , clean linens and a comfortable bed .Slightly out of town centre but with a car you’ll be there in 5-7 mins

The basin has a dated taps that discharge hot water from 1 faucet and cold from another - no option to mix .

Quiet location for an overnight stay. Whilst an older style motel it was extremely clean and comfortable. The host was very welcoming and showed me the room and other areas. He was very accommodating and pleasant. Lovely lawn areas out the front of the rooms with plenty of outside seating available.

The location was very quiet with spacious grounds and trees. Some distance from the beach but ample car parking available at beach front.

The car parking was a little 'tight' for a large car. However, after our first night the manager directed me to a alternative place that was just fine.

The man in reception was very friendly, it's nice and quiet but close enough to the township to shoot down to the shops and get stuff. Comfy beds, nice and clean. Wifi was good too.

Tv was quite slow and laggy when trying to watch stuff, that was the only problem we had during our stay, so pretty good overall.

It was quiet at night, no noise from other occupants, the owner was very hospitable and allowed a later check in so very accomodating much appreciated, exceptionally clean and spotless on arrival, enjoyed the quiet facilities at night, no noise. Also enjoyed being handy to Whitianga town but also felt like could retreat away at accomodation.
