Jenni went above and beyond to supply a great selection of breakfast supplies, beach towels, beach bag, laundry detergent. The space was large an the bed was comfy and the bedroom was spacious with access to the back deck. Jenni was so very helpful with recommendations and let us have a later checkout.

The only thing that was not so great was the owners barking dog and hearing the TV and conversations from the owners residence above. Overall a really comfy stay.

A lovely modern property with exceptional standards. I was really impressed with the presentation and I had a cosy decent sized room looking out onto a private garden. The breakfast was great, with plenty of self service options. Also, oodles of towels. Jennie was very welcoming and allowed me an early arrival to get myself ready for an event. I thank her for that.

Jennie’s place is terrific value for money and provides lots of space and comfort. The bedroom even leads to a small outside seating area. The sitting area and kitchen facilities are in part of the garage but are comfortable and provide welcome facilities that you wouldn’t expect for a BnB. Jennie communicates well and is very helpful and welcoming. When we mentioned a proposed visit to hot water beach, we were immediately supplied with a beach bag and towels, and a bucket and spade!

A real home from home. Jenny & Peter were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. Everything you could possibly need was already thought of and provided for. This ranged from every type of towel you might need down to the well stocked fridge, selection of teas, coffees, cereals , various types of bread and an excellent selection of toiletries. The separate kitchen/diner/sitting room was very homely & comfortable. The bed was divine. The little patio surrounded by plants was pure escapism. I knew I’d regret only booking one night

Pathetic comment and really nit-picking, but a more powerful hairdryer could be provided. However the weather was so good my hair dried naturally very quickly

This was our first overnight stop after leaving Auckland. What we thought were excellent provisions for breakfast turned out to be exceptional as the trip unfolded over the next two weeks. Jennie's provisions way exceeded those provided by any other host, prompting us to wonder what the term B&B stands for. Maybe it's bed and bath, because all other hosts breakfast provisions ranged from paltry to nil. Without exception, all had adequate kitchenettes, but the overall trend seems to be to not supply basic needs for a continental breakfast.

The weather could have been better, but Jennie's B&B was a very comfortable place to shelter from the rain.

Location - Nice residential area. Lovely home with comfy bed. Very nice amenities - host paying attention to details. The host, Jennie, was friendly & helpful.

The living room is separated from the garage/storage with a curtain. The towels are nice but very rough (maybe need to use softener) We didn’t realise and ate the expired bread (more than a month old) which was kept in the freezer. (maybe the host overlooked)

Very spacious, lovely furnishings, clean and close to town, yet lovely and quiet. Private outdoor seating area and deck. Fresh orange juice and plenty of milk and boutique condiments. Beautiful breakfast, but why bread in the freezer?

The TV did not work properly and was always cutting out. Peter was a gem. Really helpful and tried hard to resolve the problem. My grateful thanks to him.

low season booking made at short notice. Very clean and comfortable, comfortable bedroom, nice bathroom, good wifi. Plentiful continental style breakfast materials. Is a short drive or around 20 min walk to the central part of town.

Not a 'didn't like', but the simple curtain between the living room area and garage storage space is a bit odd!

Jennie's is a delight. Very friendly host who pointed us in the direction of one of the best Chinese take away meals we've had. Everything was spotlessly clean with lovely little personal touches. Would highly recommend Jennie's to anyone staying in Whitianga

A second toilet would be nice for couples travelling together. The description says 'additional toilet' which I mistakenly took to mean an 'extra toilet'. Also description states 'no prepayment is needed' however on checking in we found that the card used to make the booking had already been charged. Just a note for anyone travelling together and using a 'kitty' card for group purchases.

The host was most welcoming, explained where everything was & how to use. Breakfast was included, this was very nice. Place was exceptionally clean & facilities were of good quality & well maintained. As a single female traveler I felt safe staying in this accommodation.
