Great location, easy to find and lots of eateries right next door.

It’s a little dated and could probably do with an update soon.

Great location, spacious room and bathroom, lovely powerful hot shower. Quiet unit great parking. Warm and cosy, great assortment of condiments incl plunger coffee. The friendly owner kindly dropped us off at cathedral cove carpark before sunrise which was very much appreciated!

Dining Table could be a little larger, not set up for self cooking but options veey close by in Hahei or Cooks Beach even better. Could even take the passenger ferry across to whitianga if keen.

There really wasn’t anything we didn’t love about this quaint little piece of paradise right in the middle of everything we needed. It was within walking distance to the beach and kayaks to paddle out to Cathedral Cove. It was right next to all the restaurants. It was just a beautiful location nestled in among the most beautiful scenery. Everything was perfectly clean. The amenities were all included. The Smeg refrigerator was my favorite. Comfortable beds. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Location, location, location. Right in the middle of the town, so a quick walk to the beach and all the local restaurants/shops. Right at the start of the walk to Cathedral Cove. Outdoor BBQ area was great to relax at the end of the day. Rooms were comfy and roomy. Great sized fridge and freezer. Very clean and quiet. Convenient parking, very close to your room..

There's no oven and you'll need to bring your own shower wash. Otherwise nothing!!

Everything! We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. A cute cottage, clean and the private yard is spectacular. Nice extra touch was a vase of hydrangeas on the kitchen table and fresh flower on the master bed. Beds were comfortable, lots of dishes and supplies for the kitchen. BBQ worked great and extremely clean. Bathroom is rudimentary, but clean. Wifi fast, no issues even with 3 of us using multiple devices. Walk out your door and there are shops and restaurants. Beach is very close. Check in was a breeze and we were given lots of info and tips for the area. We were there 2 nights, wish we had a week there!

Hahei is a fabulous little resort on the Coromandel coast - it has everything you need for a short holiday but is not over-developed. The Tatahi Lodge consists of 5 or 6 cabins, which are simply but comfortably furnished and have all the basic facilities you would require for a holiday near the beach, including a communal laundry room. Our cabin (number 5) had a quiet, private garden area with a large table and BBQ. There are lovely cafes and a well-stocked shop next door, and right beside the Lodge is the Pour House, a superb microbrewery and pub that also serves excellent pizzas and other food. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming and responds quickly to any additional needs or requests you might have.

The accommodation could perhaps be freshened up a little with a coat of paint, but this is a minor point - it's really fine as it is. Again, this didn't trouble us but the walls between rooms and between cabins are quite thin and so it is possible to hear your neighbours.

We loved the property for its excellent location and wonderful ambience. The apartment was clean, equipped with amenities, and featured comfortable linen and bedding. The manager was incredibly helpful, providing us with tips to explore the area.

While we enjoyed our stay, we did notice a minor inconvenience: the bathroom had a window, but it couldn’t be kept open, resulting in a lack of ventilation. The bathroom might benefit from an air circulation system. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

The location is excellent. Walking distance from Cathedral Cove and the shop and bars. Only a 10 min drive from Hot Water Beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the shower good.

The soundproofing is not great. This did not cause us a problem as the site was quiet when we were there. The air conditioning was not effective enough to cool the bedrooms.

Hahei is a wonder, and Tatahi Lodge Beach Resort is the perfect place to stay during your time there. The staff is accessible and kind—going above and beyond to make your stay pleasant! The room “comes with” a shovel for Hot Water Beach, and beach towels. The studio has a lovely window sitting area, private backyard space, incredibly comfortable bed, and (random) a really neat wooden counter top. Everything was clean and well cared for. I extended my stay, I enjoyed it so much!

The room was perfect with a large double bed, shower room with lovely shampoos & soaps, a small area with kettle, toaster & microwave, and patio doors to a small garden with sun loungers. A few minutes away was The General Store, a beach cafe/shop and the pub which served amazing food. The beach is 5 mins walk away and is also gorgeous!

Nothing! If I was being pedantic then perhaps a clothes rack to hang wet swim ware?
