The attention we received on arrival and the attention throughout the entire stay made us feel extremely valued and welcome. We had dinner the first night and the food was exceptional. I had a dietary requirement which they were more than happy to oblige. The lounge/dining has a sweeping view of the sea and I liked how every dining table is up against a window so everyone gets a view. Very exclusive and very special. We felt lucky to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary there. The menu for breakfast both mornings were a culinary delight. Lots of choices where I wished we could have stayed an extra day to try them all. Would absolutely recommend especially if you are celebrating a special occasion. Loved the water bottles in the fridge and shortbread biscuits in our room. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious but cozy at the same time with sweeping views. Really stunning ambience.

Nothing major but two little issues. One of the hooks behind the door in the bathroom had come away and it was just hung there instead of it being screwed back in. Remote control for the Tv wasn’t working and that was a battery issue. I would have expected little issues like that to have been dealt with before guests arrive. Obviously just an oversight and not the norm.

This is an outstanding luxury property, one of the best in the country. The staff provide the highest level of service, the breakfast and evening canapés/drinks are excellent and the evening dinner superb (extra cost but worth it). However the best part comes from the views from the terrace and pool as well as from the large well appointed room and the large jacuzzi. It is expensive but stay here if you can.

Beautiful property. We got upgraded to the two-bedroom villa since we were the only ones staying at that time. From the moment we were met at the ferry, we were greeted with the most welcoming smile by Anna. She showed us around the property and made dinner reservations for us as well as a wine tour for the next day. We felt like we were with family the whole time. Anna and David had great conversations with us and made us feel at home.

Superb and luxurious despite the room being a little dated. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was superb although the restaurant was quiet. Great location to visit Oneroa , Palm Beach and Onetangi

It was all very good.

Remote location, very private with exceptional views. The lodge was small and intimate. The staff exceptional. An excellent place to stay and unwind. The food and wine were also extremely good.

We had absolutely no complaints.

We would stay here again but feel the price did not reach its value. some of the staff were great. Could not understand the price of the meals and why you needed to book in advance. The 5 course meal was not worth $195 each and we could have received a better meal elsewhere. We have stayed in other hotels where the canapés and drinks lasted for 2 1/2 hours not one plate. We asked for a glass of red wine and reply was we don’t have a bottle opened. The setting is so gorgeous but for the amount spent each night you expect to be treated like you are something special. We love the place but feel it needs the X factor for money charged.

Woww! This hotel is beyond our expectation. The size of the lodge is small so each of the guests are being taken care very well. The rooms and views are stunning. The infinity pool is everything. The bedding is extremely comfortable, im quite surprised! Staffs are friendly and supportive

Delamore Lodge is heaven on Earth! It is one of the best and most private resorts we have ever stayed.

It is very pricey but a special stay

Beautiful property with spectacular views in a great location. Staff were amazing and went above and beyond with service, serving amazing food and drinks, always available to help and advise. They even us drove us to wherever we needed to go when requested.

Wifi was a little slow, but was being updated when we were there.

We were collected from the ferry. They organised a lunch booking at short notice for a local vineyard . The breakfast was best hotel breakfast we have ever had.
