This was one of the prettiest places I have been to, both in Lofoten and in general. First of all there's parking which is very useful considering there's no plenty of room around for guest cars. Second, there's a bar within the building with great food and drinks - served by a very helpful and enthusiastic staff which is also ready to help you if you have any questions. Last but not least, the room: very spacious, with a desk, comfy bed, chairs, and a large bathroom with heated floor and quality products available. Best of all, the building seen from outside deserves a picture in itself being incredibly pretty looking! Good central location at a reasonable price overall, with WiFi working great. Definitely worthy!

Nothing I can think of in particular... Maybe the breakfast, don't expect the usual hotel selection, you will have a standard plate served for you directly - if you are a picky eater beware I guess!

Location was right in the middle of town, and walking distance to everything. If we needed anything, we just talked to the staff located in the cafe. This was the only place we stayed in Lofoten that included a breakfast, which was nice. Each morning, we could come down to the cafe and the tables were setup with a lovely spread of meats, cheeses, pastries, juices, fruit, and boiled eggs. We found the earliest business to open at 9AM, and breakfast was available earlier which we appreciated. The room had a large TV, mini fridge, and was quite spacious.

The area for parking is quite tight and can be challenging.

Henningsvær is such a lovely little town… I truly enjoyed it. The night before I arrived I’d considered axing it from my destination list in favor of taking the ferry overnight from Svolvær to Tromsø. I am SO GLAD I went there! Went sea swimming at a lovely little beach, went for several great walks, enjoyed the shops and the people. The guesthouse was comfortable and well located, and the room was very nice and neat as a pin. It was a very nice stay and I really enjoyed chatting with the owners about their story around the inn. The breakfast is also superb and that’s before I mention the extremely good coffee and other goodies available throughout the day. Great stay! I would absolutely come back. Thank you!!!

It was in a great location and central to the town centre. Breakfast was very good with a great variety.

Our room was very hot (normally a bonus but it had been an exceptionally hot day) and I later found that I could have borrowed a key to open the windows. Not being accustomed to 24 hour daylight, there was a small window in the room without a covering that bothered us.

Out of all of the trips that my husband and I have taken this was, by far, one of our favorite stays. Truly such a gem. All of the staff were very attentive and welcoming. They were quick to answer any questions that we had and made the check in and check out process very smooth. We had no issues getting into our room, or into the main doors when they would lock for the evening. The day that we arrived, the attached café was hosting a taco night, and we were able to get last minute reservations. The food was amazing, and could rival any cantina in the US. The rooms were set up well, and you could tell that a lot of thought had gone into the décor and the little personal touches that were placed around. Everything was very clean and well kept. Our beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. There was even a provided squeegee for when the floors would get damp after the shower. They provided breakfast, every morning, in the café downstairs. There was a great selection of food, and everything was already laid out on tables when we would come down. The guesthouse is located right in the center of town and it is very easy to walk to everything. It was the perfect base for all of our activities in the area. You could tell that a lot of thought had gone into every detail of the guesthouse and café. We hope to come back in the future.

Henningsvær Guesthouse has a central location in town conveniently located close to many restaurants and cafes. The Guesthouse itself also has a wonderful cafe and great lunch and dinner choices. I highly recommend the fish and chips. It is a short walk to many retail stores, the scenic harbor and to the famous soccer field. The included breakfast was exceptional and well presented at each guest table every morning. The free, private guest parking alongside of the building was much appreciated. The staff is quite responsive to any issues you may encounter. Although, extremely unlikely, the TV in our room was not working. After notifying the staff the problem was immediately looked at and resolved by a replacement TV being installed. Everyone who worked at the Guesthouse was very friendly and welcoming. My wife and I will always stay there if we ever visit Henningsvær again.

Not one thing come to mind.

We were in a room with great views towards the village plaza. The room was spacious, with sofa, dining table, but the bed was a little narrow. It was clean, quiet and reasonably comfortable. There were power points on both sides of the bed, with little tables. The bathroom was well equipped with thermo mixer, good countertop and clothes hooks. The breakfast was really well thought out, with each person getting a basket of breakfast goodies at your table. Good coffee. The staff were all very nice, and even helped us with some laundry. Of course the location was very special and one of the reasons we came all the way north. It was worth it.

The shower stall floor felt slippery like it could be scrubbed. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan, just a vent, so steam built up. That's all.

The host was very communicative, sent us all the necessary instructions on time, even arriving at midnight was not a problem. The staff was great, friendly. The breakfasts or dinners we had ad hoc were delicious! The accommodation is in a great location, highly recommended from my side!

Perfect location. The young woman prepping breakfast/ running the cafe (possibly an owner?) was incredibly kind and easy to talk with. There were cookies in our room upon arrival the night prior, and we mentioned to her in the morning how much we enjoyed them (SO soft and gooey) and she sweetly gave us two more for the road! Love that extra kindness. Excellent stay, highly recommend!

Everything was really nice,staff polite rooms are clean,breakfast good.as well! Place are perfect!

Unfortunately we didnt like the bed. Was really soft,so really easy to felt down. For one person amazing,for two a little bit difficult. First night was not nice at all,then we get used to it so we found the way how to sleep well. The only thing what we dont like it!
