The room was clean with a beautiful view. Very good breakfast. Useful pub in the building that allowed us to eat something the first night when everything around was already closed.

The room was very cold with no way to manage the temperature. The reception provided an electric heater. Don’t go for breakfast after 9 since some things could be over.

We had a room with view and to say that we don't regret it is the least we can say. The view is absolutely stunning from the 9th floor. The restaurant is delicious and the breakfast is literraly the best we had and would ever have. It is impossible to think of something you would like to eat for breakfast that wasn't there. We recommend this place a hundred times.

Breakfast was good and the facilities were also good.

There was a minor issue related to a local event at the hotel. Although I was informed upon arrival, I believe the hotel should have notified me in advance. The event filled the hotel with noise and partying guests, disrupting my stay. While I requested a new room, availability was limited the first night. However, the following night, I was relocated to an upper floor room, which significantly improved my experience. Management should consider informing guests in advance about such events, as it can impact their stay, especially for international tourists who may prefer a quieter environment.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They upgraded me into a Superior Class room at no extra cost and due to a storm I got the second night at the same price. Breakfast is awesome, best I've ever seen.

Location just at the waterside was very nice. Bedroom was very good with a view of the town square. Breakfast was first class with a massive selection of different foods, including gluten free section.

Nearby streets have a parking charge/limit which was not very clear to us what it meant. The hotel offered parking at 200NOK per night (if I remember the cost correctly). This seemed a bit expensive to us as we were already paying a decent amount for the stay. We did find free parking on street a shortish walk away.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The room was spacious, with an incredible view that left me speechless. Everything was meticulously clean and comfortable, making the stay truly special. The staff was fantastic, and I must give a special shoutout to Umberto at reception—what a gentleman! He made us feel welcome from the very first moment and was always available to help with a smile. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant one evening, and it was simply fantastic. The food was delicious, and the maître d’ was both friendly and cheerful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. But the absolute highlight? The breakfast. I have never seen such a generous and varied selection. It was truly exceptional, with so many delicious things to eat and drink. The breakfast alone was worth the stay! It completely won me over and is the part I’ll remember most about this hotel.

Upgraded to a corner suite which was absolutely worth paying the extra for. The room and especially the view was fabulous. Any small issues were dealt with quickly. The hotel restaurant was fabulous. We had dinner there for one night and breakfast both mornings. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Lots of choice, food was fresh and plentiful. Location was amazing as it was right on the harbour which afforded us the best views and meant we were in the heart of the town. Will definitely be back.

Somewhere or thing to put suitcases on. There was very little wardrobe space or drawers to empty cases into but this was fine for the 2 nights we were there. We may have struggled if staying for longer.

Breakfast buffet was epic!! staff very kind and helpful. Thon property's appear to be amazing!!

Can't think of much...I found interesting the fact that decaf coffee was not present on the buffet and practically anywhere in Norway, ok by me but not some..the beds were comfy and the comforter folded in half was nice....but by midnight the goose down comforter had me sweating..no sheets other than the fitted sheet covering the mattress..kinda weird for an american

Outstanding breakfast complete with piano player. Like really outstanding. Probably would not find a better breakfast anywhere. Close to ferry and bus and Hurtigruten for those who need that. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Very clean. Really good bathroom. Big hotel so very flexible even on booking.com with cancellation.

Skinny little single beds. Standard rooms are banished to the back of winding corridors filled with old chairs and racks of towel. Stained old carpet in the room. No bedside light or power plug. There was a floor lamp but if i wanted to use it, the only power point was waist height requiring the cord to go across the entry to the bathroom. This was the only power point so to charge my phone which had a cord that did not reach the ground, i had to balance the phone on the tv speaker syatem. For the price, it was a little disappointing compared to the Thun hotel at Harstad.

The hotel is very clean and modern. The breakfast is very good. The location is good, in the center of the downtown, very close to many good restaurants.

The hotel doesn't offer parking. It was a bit difficult to find street parking. The area is under many constructions, therefore it took many tries to drive to the hotel. And of course, even we found parking near by (walk 10min), it would take more than half a hour in driving. I wish the hotel would offer parking service.
