The 'cabin' was amazing! The view was beautiful, the cabin was decorated to be so warm and inviting, very spacious, very well equipped, very clean and cozy. We loved it there and would have stayed forever if it was possible! Breakfast was fantastic, with every kind of breakfast food imaginable, all fresh, all delicious. The staff couldn't have been nicer, with instructions how to walk there from the ferry terminal (very easy!), to answering all our questions and helping us out with suggestions, chatting, etc. It was a wonderful stay, we would come back anytime!!

Need more hooks in the bathroom for towels. Not a big issue...

Anker Brygge is situated on a small island across a short bridge from the center of Svolvaer. The cabin I stayed in had two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, TV and good Wi-Fi. The view from the kitchen was spectacular with the famous Lofoten mountains fully visible on the horizon. The breakfast is very good and there is plenty of parking if you're driving. The bus stop from the airport and beyond is about a 10-minute walk away from the hotel. I enjoyed my stay at Anker Brygge and highly recommend it as an excellent budget option (by Lofoten standards) in central Svolvaer.

We rented a 2-room cottage. Since it was the 2 of us, the 2nd room was locked, which was totally fine. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. The view was great, location was within walking distance of restaurants, downtown, etc., cottage was very clean and comfortable, and, the breakfast was great!

Because the cottage was on ground level, it made us a little uncomfortable leaving a window open at night because the public can walk on the dock around the cottages. They can also look in through the windows, too, so closing the curtains is a must.

Amazing traditional fisherman's cottage on a picturesque island a short walk from the centre of Svolvaer. This was the centrepiece and highlight of our 10 day roadtrip across Lofoten and northern Norway - perched on the side of an island containing two "hotels" - this one and a Scandic hotel, plus a restaurant. The room we had was comfortable and cosy for the arctic summer - a sofa and two armchairs made up a seating area with a large modern TV, and a kitchen area allowed you to cook and eat in comfort should you want to. The bedroom had a huge comfortable bed and the bathroom was clean and well equipped. The place is beyond beautiful with amazing views of the town, the sea and harbour and Floya mountain that overlooks Svolvaer. The hotel has a sauna located in one of the cabins which can be booked out at no extra cost and is reserved for you to give you privacy. Breakfast was beautiful served in a large room in the reception building, or as we were blessed with incredible sunny weather you can sit outside and enjoy it alfresco.

I think this is a very good accomodation option in Svolvær, especially for a short stay. It has central location on a small island just behind the harbour, with many boats to observe (and to take voyages :-). The apartment was quite spatious and designed in a traditional style. There was a table with benches outside. The breakfast was very good, and the dinner at restaurant Kjøkkenet was a pleasure.

- The hotel houses stand quite close to each other, so that those seeking more privacy should look elsewhere. Nevertheless, it was quiet here. - The small island with the houses is a kind of one big square, almost without natural landscape (except the see, of course :-)

We loved the rorbu. It was a small cabin having all we needed. Very comfortable and neat. I can definitely recommend the stay. Breakfast was also amazing, good variety of local food.

You have to book the sauna in advance in order for the staff to start it prior which we have not been said.. only said we can use it if we would like to. Other places have it running. I am just saying for other guests to know.. it is nothing that would disturb our stay in such wonderful place.

First, the extremely helpful young lady at the reception at 1730 August 6. In brief, we had a 'missing' baggage for 7 days, and I received conflicting messages from the airline (SAS). So I asked the young lady for help. In no time she called the airport to confirm its whereabouts (at Svolvaer airport). Then, she assisted us further by calling a local 🚕. All the time, she was courteous and soft spoken. Second, the hotel is in a wonderful setting and the most iconic part of this beautiful town. Third, a good and tasty breakfast is provided. Fourth, it's situated near the ferry ⛴️ pier (10 minutes' walk).

No. nothing.

I unfortunately did not get to really appreciate the room and facilities because i arrived late znd left early. The bed was very comfortable and the location very close to the express ferry. Shower was terrific. Kitchen facilities great although a bizarre lack of power points but tgats probably due to the rustic nature of it. Staff sensational. Called me when i was late to check up and made me a packed breakfadt because i had to leave early. Also helped me book my ferry ticket online. Definitely worth staying here.

Beautiful and convenient location. Next to the pier and mountains, close to Svolvær's restaurants and walking distance to grocery stores. We loved the cozy interior of our apartment and the staff was super friendly in helping us charge our electric rental car. Breakfast was delicious as well with many options.

There aren't enough parking spots for everyone who has a car, which created a little stress. Luckily when the hotel spots were all full, we were able to park free in the paid lot next to the hotel because it was free on Sunday evening
